Umaatikabong "interrogation" ang ginawa ng uber-mahadera kong friend na si Kate by asking me lots of questions about Patrick. And yup! Tama ang dinig niyo. Kuya Steve have mentioned to my uber-talkative at chismosang BFF that I'm currently going-out (going-out??? Talaga lang, Andie??? GOING-OUT??? Hindi ba pwedeng 'friends' muna? *laughs*) with our neighbour next door recently when she phoned the house a few days ago. I couldn't help myself but to feel so pissed off and grumpy habang dumadaldal ang bestfriend ko sa kabilang linya by asking me tons of questions tungkol sa lalaking nagpabago ng takbo ng buhay ko in a snap! *rolling her eyes nonstop* I mean, malaking JUSKOH NAMAN! Hanggang kelan ba 'ko tatantanan nitong bestfriend ko when it comes to my lovelife?! Abe, hindi pa nga totally nagbu-bloom ng bonggang-bongga ang lovelife ko eh umaatikabong pangingielam na naman ang inaatupag nitong si Kate! *scratches her head in total annoyance*
"Katherine! Katherine!" A loud, huge voice suddenly roars from the other line, interrupting our conversation.
Mukhang si Uncle Miguel (Kate's Dad) 'yung may-ari nung boses na tumatawag sa kaibigan ko.
"Dad?" Yup! It is indeed, her Dad.
"C'mere now! Mag-uumpisa na 'yung prayer mass para sa pa-siyam na araw ng Lola mo!"
"Right! I'll be there in a minute! I'll just say goodbye to Andie first!"
"I'm really sorry Andie but I have to go. Tinatawag na kasi ako ni Daddy eh. But hey, I'll phone you back soon-ish! Hindi pa 'ko tapos sa 'yo about Patrick!"
Juskoh Kate! Can you just leave me and Patrick alone? *rolls eyes* Kahit hindi ka na magparamdam, okay lang! *slaps her forehead*
"That's alright, Kate. I know you're pretty busy and you have to settle some stuff over there so don't worry. Your two-months leave has already approved by Sir Dave by the way."
She bids her goodbye but still insisting that she'd gonna phone me as soon as possible for the nth time to find out more – or should I say, to grill me more on my seat – about Paddy and our status.
Susme, Andie! *smacks her lips in total dismay* Mukhang panibagong pakikibaka na naman ang gagawin mo just to make sure your annoying friend won't dig deeper into your very private life especially your feelings for Patrick that keeps on digging the deepest hole inside your fragile heart like a wee, cute mole. *sigh*
Speaking of Paddy, naalala kong bigla na ngayon nga pala ako nangako na tutulungan ko siyang mag-ayos ng mga gamit sa house niya.
Ihhh, Andie!!! *closes her eyes while she screeches a loud squeal* Bakit ba nagiging makakalimutin ka recently?! Kasalanan 'to ng uber-pasaway kong mind eh! Hindi talaga ako pinatulog the whole night!
*her mind suddenly rises up from her slumber*
--Excuse me lang, huh? At ako pa talaga ang sinisi mo eh bakit hindi mo kausapin 'yang bangag na si Ms. Heart??? Wala na siyang ibang ipinipintig kundi 'yang prince charming mong si Patrick! *snobbishly takes her eyes away from Andie*--
