You were at the library heading up the steps to the top of the building. Once you reach the top of the building you glanced around, at all your flowers you were growing for the old lady at the front desk. You watered all the plants and you got another flower garden to plant tulips.

There were chairs towards the sunset so you sat down and unlock your phone to play some classic music while relaxing until it was time you wanted to go home. The sound of the door squeaking occurred and you turned around to see the old lady at the front desk she told you she had a visitor. "Who is it?" You asked sitting up

"I dont know... He is quite a handsome young man." She laughed then headed back down

You had no clue who it was but if it was a handsome young man you quickly brush your hair down and straighten your clothes you begin walking to the door but he already came out it was none other than your crush. how did he know you were here? what did he want?

"(Y/N) Hey" He smirked at you
"Hi" you got extremely nervous and played with the ends of your hair
"Can we talk?" He asked

"Su-Sure...yeah" You went back to your chair and laid down glancing at the sunset as he did the same
"I havent seen you in like two weeks" He said
"Yeah, sorry. " You apologized
"This is a quiet peaceful place huh?" He beamed

"Yeah the sunset is nice" You pronounced still wondering what he wanted to talk to you about

"Okay so no holding back...." he sat up "At the end of school and beginning of summer i realized i liked you...lemme finish.....Ive always tried to get your attention but when you looked at me i pretended to talk to my friends all me and my friends talk about ks you...because they know i like you. Ive never spent this long trying to ask a girl out. But youre not any girl, youre special, youre one of kind and i told myself now or never i picked now.....because i didnt wanna lose you....so (Y/N) i really like you, Would you go out with me?" He finished

You took time to process every word, youre just a normal ole' girl in Highschool but he thinks you're special no other guy has ever called you special, or took that long to ask you out, but like he said you're not any girl. You knew you liked him too but you didn't know how to tell him, then again you were still nervous.
"I dont know what to sa-say..." you stuttered

"You dont have to say anything i knew i shouldn't pin this all on you, call me when you.....figure things out" he placed his hand on your knee then it slipped away feeling cold. You bit the inside of your lip thinking before he walked away you yelled his name and quickly turned

"Yes?" He said hope filled his eyes

You took a couple of steps before reaching him chest to chest it took you alot of courage you threw your arms around his neck and tip toed up brushing your lipx against his he obviously couldn't resist and pulled you closer to him wrapped his arms around you. He pulled your legs around his waist and and turned your back against the wall, you played with his hair until you heard heels that were too familiar.

The lady from the desk was coming, you quickly pulled yourself down and slightly pushed him away he looked confused bit soon heard the footsteps too.

Once she came up you confirmed you were okay she looked at all of her flowers before she went back downstairs telling you 35 minutes till closing time.

"Wow" You said after she left

"So is that a yes on a date"He joked
"Absolutely!" You smiled taking his hand
