Chapter 5

I couldn't sleep the night before so I ended up getting ready before my alarms went off. "Why are you awake so early?" Maya said rubbing her eyes. "I couldn't sleep." I said going to my bags. "Well now I can't sleep." She got up and went to her closet. "Sup girls." Mason said walking in. "How are you here early?" I asked pulling out some clothes. "I don't know. I just am." He sat on Maya's bed and pulled out a cigarette.

I decided to wear a pale pink tank top with a flower in the middle. A little to girly for my taste but my aunt Natalie gave it to me and since I'm at her house,why not. Some black pants and leather jacket and some black heels.

"Nice. My mom got you that shirt. Good Idea. I'll wear the one she gave me." Maya said running back into her closet. She came out with a lace top with a red tank top underneath folded to a few inches above her belly button some ripped leggings and a leather jacket paired with some black heels.

"Shall we get going." Mason said opening the door and letting us out. "It's still early. You want to stop and get some food. I could really use some." Maya said walking out the front door. "Yeah I could use some food." I jumped into the passenger seat of Mason's car and we drove off.

"Can you believe they were still selling burgers." I said taking of bite of my double cheese burger. "Yeah. I don't think they start selling breakfast until eight. And I'm glad." Mason said taking a fry with one hand on the wheel.

When we got to school not a lot of people were there yet so we sat in the car and finished our burgers and talked until more people arrived. "So. You gonna be okay." Mason said wrapping his arm around my waist and Maya's. "Could we not bring it up at school." I said as we walked into the school. "Okay okay." He said walking to his locker.

"Katherine could I talk to you." I turned around and saw Jordan. "Yeah sure." I crossed my arms over my chest and planted my feet firm on the ground. Maya turned around slamming her locker followed by Mason. "Alone." He said looking at them. "Whatever you have to say you can say in front of my best friends. If not then we have nothin to discuss." I said trying to walk away. "Fine." He said grabbing my arm. I heard Mason growl and he automatically let go. "About what you said the other night. I want you to come over to my house later so I can tell you." I smirked at him. "Sure I'll go to your house. But you'll have exactly ten minutes to speak and then I'm gone." I said as Julia walked up.

"Hey guys. I see your talking to my boyfriend." She grabbed his face and kissed him hard and fast. "Seems like you have other plans." I said turning. "You invited her to your place how could you." She said pulling up her shorts even higher then they already were. She had on a white top some red shorts and some sandals.

"Didn't I already warn you about white." I said crossing my arms again. "And about sandals." She looked at me confused. "You never warned me about..." I cut her off by crushing her toe then smiling at her. "Oh shit." She winced and pushed me off. "Don't touch her." Maya said pushing her.

"I push whoever I want to." But before she could push Maya Jordan pulled her away. "Let's go guys." I said turning around. As soon as I turned I saw a girl from my English class staring at us. Wonder what that was about.

When I got into English class that same girl looking at me in the hallway walked up to me. "Your Katherine right?" She asked me as I walked to my seat her following. "Yeah. And you are.." I said. "Oh Aria." She said sitting in the seat next to me. "And what do you want." I asked. "Oh I've only been here for two days and I've seen the damage Julia can do to you and your friends and me and the few friends I have." I looked at her clothes and noticed she had a lot of band stuff on.

"Emo?" I asked and she nodded "I guess you could say that. "But I like the way you stand up to her. I want to be like you." She asked and I smiled. "Ok. I've done this before." I said as she looked at me confused. "Transformed someone." I said and she nodded. "My cousin Maya who is the girl always hanging out with me." She nodded telling Me to go on. "She was goth. I transformed her more into a rebel. But she is still her with all her rage and black clothes and stuff. She's even asked her parents for fangs before. Didn't work out." She chuckled. "Meet me at my locker after school and Maya and I can take you shopping." I loved transforming people.

"Hey so there's this girl that wants to be like us." I told Mason and Maya on our way to our locker. "I told her I would transform her like I transformed you. So she can still keep her hobbies and stuff. Like you have stayed a little goth like with the fangs thing. She can still keep her band things." I heard Mason sigh. "We're taking in an emo." He said as I elbowed him in the side. "Not for long. Soon enough she'll be like us." Maya nodded her head. "Yeah just think about it like that."

When we turned the corner to get to our locker I saw Julia hold someone by their collar. "And the cage has been opened." Mason said. No one had ever seen her like this so everyone was whispering to other people.

"Did you try to trip me?!" She yelled. "No I promise. You just didn't see my foot." I recognized that voice. "Oh god guys. That's her. Aria." I said walking a little faster towards them with Maya and Mason behind me. "Let her go!" I yelled pulling Julia away from Aria as Mason pulled her out of the way. "So now your taking in emo's. Just like you took in a goth." I fisted my hands. "Leave them the hell alone." I said through clenched teeth.

"Oh what's poor little orphan mother gonna do next take in a nerd." She said chuckling. I brought my elbow back and punched her hard in the nose. She wailed in pain and stumbled back. Jordan looked at me with wide eyes and I looked away. "Your gonna pay bitch." She said with her hands over her nose. "Oh I'm so scared." I said turning around.

"Katherine watch out." Jordan said I turned around and squat down and kicked my leg out making her fall backwards.

I got back up and winked at Jordan and he smiled. Mason Maya Aria and I walked out the front doors and into Mason's car. "Hey Mason. Can you drop us off at the mall. I'll call you when we need to be picked up." He nodded and took a left instead of a right towards the mall.

"Hey you should text your mom and ask her if you can spend the night at my house. So we can help you get ready in the morning. But just don't tell her that part." Maya said as Aria got out her phone and started talking in the phone. We had gotten her exactly eleven pairs of pants eleven shirts and eleven pairs of shoes. It's amazing how rich my aunt and uncle became but they are rich.

"She said I could." I smiled. "Great. We will help you in the morning. It'll be so fun." I said walking out of the mall and seeing Mason's car. "Have fun girls?" He asked as we jumped in. "Yep. Tons."

Since Aria was now introduced to the book I will probably have four outfits in the book now. And if you don't like the outfits or that I put them in every chapter then don't read this book. Love ya <3
