Sometimes I get so fed up with my father i stop talking to him or we fight or I just walk away. Those times I walk away are rare but today was one of those days.

"Fuck it I'm done with your shit" I say to my dad and walk out. We were having another fight about who I was going to marry. I don't want a wife and I don't want to become vampire king. I just want to live a normal life, or as normal as It gets for a vampire boy.

"Daniel James Howell you get back here don't you walk away from me..." his loud voice trails off as I head up to my room. My room is dark like always. Mostly because down in the under realms there is no sun. The moonlight is one of the things that light up the under worlds, along with fire and lights but only the wealthy people like my father or the warriors from century's ago have lights. My father doesn't. They remind him of my mom. And we don't talk about her.

I push my door open and fly out my widow. I've always loved to fly. I love being up in the air away from all my troubles and my aggressive father.

I fly threw the crisp winters night and I fly to the vary edge of arrow forest. I've never been past but I decide to go farther, the sky is a pure dark blue sprinkled with a thousand stars and I just don't feel like going back to my cold and unwelcoming home.

It's funny being a vampire. We can go from bat to human in a millisecond. I was just a 6 foot human and now I'm a small black bat the size I my human size fist.

The trees are covered In a thick layer of white snow. I decide to fly back to the ground as I take my vampire form. My feet crunch through the white snow. It's cold but it's a pleasant cold.

I walk and I start to hear someone mumbling to themselves so I decided to check it out. I walk in the direction of the mumbling and I see the back of someone with midnight black hair.

He whips around in my detection looking startled. I quickly slip behind a tree and turn into bat form.

"Who's there?" He says nervously. His eyes are full of fear.

I've never seen eyes like his before. There big and bright and I've never seen a vampire with eyes like that. It rare too see a vampire with eyes that aren't brown.

He looks relieved when he sees no ones there, but he doesn't start talking to himself again.

I turn back into human and start following him. I've never seen someone like him before. Is he a werewolf?

The boy slowly stops and looks around carefully.

"Who's there?" He asks again his voice is filled with fear. He diffidently herd my heavy breathing because he brake into a run.

I turn into a bat and fly after him. He runs for a few minuets and then he tips over a root.

"Are you okay?" I ask quickly turning into a human and pitching myself on the tree that he tripped on.

He looks scared. I jump down from the tree when he looks away. This boy is in a galaxy jacket with black jeans. I've never seen a vampire dress in anything. I have on a clean white button up shirt and a black cape with red on the Inside along with black pants. I look like the stereotypical vampire but if we want to turn into a bat we need to be wearing this so it will vanish in bat form. There magic.

"Who are you?" He asks trying to sound scary. He more sounds like scared little kid.

"I ask the questions" I say pointing at the root witch wraps itself around the boys foot. Being the kings son I know magic but it's vary limited. I know how to move things across the room and make things levitate and make things grow. I know a few spells but I never use them.
