Edit:
"I'm the Destructor." Ink stopped fighting his restraints as his eyes focused on Error's. "You're the Destructor?" Ink's voice squeaked in confusement. Error was surprised, did this being not understand who he was, what he could do? Error cleared his throat, "D-don't you understand? I'm the destroyer of m-multiverses sent to fix the mistakes and g-glitches placed within the void." Ink stared at Error in bafflement. 'The Destructor of universes? How was that possible? I thought I was the only one...' His thoughts raced with questions. He needed some information from this 'Destructor'. "So your duty is to destroy my beloved creations? The life I made to expand this empty void?" Ink's eyesockets rose in a question like manner. Error grew quiet as he let Ink's words soak into his mind. 'My creations....' Before Ink got his answer Error tighten the strings around Ink, squeezing the skeletons frame. Ink's eyes grew wide in response. His soul began to pulse heavily. With one quick flick of Error's arm, the strings tossed Ink onto the ground. Groans of pain escaped Ink's tightly closed throat. His bones made a sickening rattle from the fall's impact. Ink couldn't defend himself from Error's rage. He didn't have his big paintbrush. Fear started to crawl into his mind. 'What had set him off?!?' Error walked over to Ink as he laid on the floor pinned by his strings. "S-so, your the b-bastard that's been creating all t-these damn AU's!" Ink couldn't see Error but he could tell he was glitching out worse with his growing temper. Error sent his strings flying, throwing Ink across the void. Ink landed on his face, sending waves of pain from his skull. Tears of ink had pricked his eyesockets. He could feel his body becoming weaker. Ink had to break free from the strings. His HP was low, another blow and he would turn into dust. Error shot bones from where he stood in the distance; he would end this once and for all. Ink frailed his pockets frantically for a small paintbrush. Even without his large one he could still shield himself with his smaller one. He could hear the whistling of the bones nearing as it cut through the air between them. This was the end. Ink was going to die. Ink's eyes flew open as he felt the tiny paint brush graze his fingers. Ink'a soul raced inside his ribcage. Adrenaline pumped through the tiny soul that sat inside of him. He pulled the paintbrush out and swipped the floor. Before the bones could penetrate Ink; he spawned a shield. Error wasn't paying attention to his attack, he knew that the Creator was a goner. He would let Ink die nice and slow so he could enjoy every second of his last moments. Suddenly a loud crash brought him back to reality. Error spun around eyeing where Ink was. Ink in one swipe of his brush broke the strings that laced him. He hopped onto his feet with agility. "How i-in the hell?" Error teleported closer to Ink spawning another bone attack. He was gonna win, if it was the last th- Error was interuppted as Ink pounced at him, swiping his paint brush at his face. Ink had covered him in a bright pastel of pink instantly. Error stumbled back trying to wipe the paint from his sockets. Ink gave out a chuckle as he teleported behind Error, tripping him. Error fell onto the void's flooring. Bursting into shouts of curses and insults. He rubbed the paint off his face desperately. Ink warped away from him grabbing his larger paint brush. He began observing Error's movements from afar. Ink wasn't going to kill him. He didn't believe in doing anything unjust such as that. The hurting of others should never be anyone's enjoyment in life. Sure, Error tried to hurt Ink. But he wasn't going to do something as low as murder him. Error wiped his eyes and sprang up looking for Ink. He gave a desperate growl of anger; his eyes bloodshot. Once he laid eyes on him he yelled out to where he stood. "What k-kind of attack was t-that?" Ink gave a simple shrug, "Defense." Error cocked a brow and smirked as he teleported near Ink again. This time as he did Ink shoved his paint brush at him again, making contact with Error's chest. Error gave a cocky smile in response. "Woah w-woah. Take it easy. I'm not g-gonna hurt you." Ink gave him a quizzical look. Did Ink really trust this guy? Ink sighed and placed his paint brush back into it's carrying pouch behind him. "I h-have a few questions." Error said, eyeing the smaller skeleton. Ink changed his posture and replied, "Go on, ask them." He gave a patient smile afterwards. Error gave a glitchy laugh . 'This Ink Creator sure has some guts, although scientifically he doesn't.' Error tilted his head, chosing his words carefully. They stood there; tension filling the air. "Why didn't you k-kill me when you h-had the chance?" Ink returned a small giggle, "Because it's the nice thing to do." Error grew silent. 'That soft laugh... it sounded so cute." Error couldn't believe what he was thinking. This small skeleton was supposed to be a nuisance to him. How could such a sound created by him have such an effect on him. Error threw that thought into the back of his mind. 'Don't get distracted...' "Is t-that so? Have you n-not seen how vicious people c-can be? Take me for example." Ink considered what Error just said. He had a point. No one was 100% harmless. "You should always treat others the way you want to be treated. And honestly, you aren't that much of a danger" Ink said with confidence. After he said his words he stared at Error. Ink wanted to know more about him. Something about Error made him seem so interesting. Ink had never made Error; he was like a puzzle. You put together the correct information an image would form. A true defenition of who that thing is. 'Who was Error really deep inside?' Error began to rack his brains for something to say. He understood the idea of kindness and all, but this. He tried to kill Ink. Yet he still didn't even want to lay a hand on him? Ink was too good for his own being. Error met Ink's gaze, "T-that's an unique motto..." Socializing to people instead of threatening can be hard. Definitely Error, this was one of the first people he actually talked to first-hand. For some reason, deep down, he didn't want to hurt him. Ink was just doing what he was destined to do. "I think it's my turn to ask some questions." Ink said, placing his hands on his hips. Error gave him a look of acceptance. "Were you the one erasing my universes?" Error smirked and nodded. Ink gave a depressed soft sigh. 'Thought so...' He said mentally. Ink didn't hesitate his next question. "Can you stop destroying them?" Error stared at Ink blankly. This was his job; duty to destroy the universes that threatened the anti-void. Error couldn't stop this. It would just lead to unbalance. Error raised his head, "N-no can do." Ink gaped his mouth, "Why not?!? Don't you see your killing others like you and me!" The tension in the room had bolied over now. Rage had filled the smaller skeleton. Withoit thinking he grabbed Error's shirt and tugged it towards him. Error gave a low growl, "I-it's my job. Just like it's y-your job to create. I m-must do what I was c-created to do." Ink wasn't satisfied with his answer. Ink flung him back and grabbed his paintbrush. As he was about to turn around and splash Ink with paint, Error shot strings into his ribcage The strings naturally attaching them to his soul. "D-don't think about it."Ink froze into place. He was too scared to move; the strings were gripping his soul hard. Ink felt like a marionette, a puppet having to obey it's master. Ink's soul pounded in his rib cage. He had messed up now. Error couldn't help but admire Ink's face as he stood frightened. His pupils had dilated to pin pricks, his smile dropping into a line. "One f-flip of my wrist and your soul will be s-shattered to pieces." Ink squinted his eyes at Error. He was the Protector; Creator. He had to protect his AUs, no matter what. Error sighed, 'Why do people make this so difficult?'. "L-look. I'll spare you IF y-you just understand. No more q-questions for now? Okay?" Ink nodded in response. As said, Error let go of Ink's soul. His strings let go returning to him. Ink rubbed his sternum at where the strings inserted inside his ribcage. He felt so violated. That was his soul, the reason he exsisted. And some person he hadn't even known a day had grasped his soul... Ink felt heat forming on his face. Error watched as Ink had began to blush. It wasn't just any blush. A beautiful rainbow of colors stroked his cheeks. Error couldn't help but notice it. It was very cute how Ink looked right now. That word had once again entered his mind. But he couldn't think of any other words. 'I think he's slightly embarrassed...' Error gave a smirk, "Hey, w-what's up with the colors on your face?" Ink's hands instantly flew to his face, feeling the warmth his bones radiated. Ink's eyesockets widened. "Nothing. I just thought of something..." Error probably knew what he was thinking. He did technically hold Ink's soul. That to any monster can be taken as a special thing. To show trust, care and gentleness. And yet Error just did it as as a counter attack. He wasn't even gentle either. "D-don't worry about that soul. I didn't do anything to it." Error raised his hands in a harmless gesture. Ink tilted his head; his blush starting to fade. Silence had fallen between the two. "I'm going go go back to my universe now... It's probably late there. Don't want to keep my brother waiting." Ink said, breaking the silence. Error watched as Ink pulled out his paintbrush, holding it in a painter's style manner. Error watched Ink's brush hover over the flooring of the ant-void. "I'm sure our paths will cross again. For now goodbye Error." He waved with one hand and spawned a portal in the other. Ink didn't wait for Error's reply as he jumped into the paint puddle. The the portal closed behind him leaving only a puddle of paint. Error stood and watched him leave. He let out a laugh. "H-hah! I guarantee our paths will cross a-again." He let his laugh spread around the void until it became nothing but a whisper. 'That skeleton sure is something. Innocent and small...' Error stared down at his hands, remembering how he could feel the vibrations of Ink's soul as the strings sent waves of motion to him. They had such a rythm to them... "His soul was beating so fast." He whispered, a grin forming on his face. He tried to reenact the pulses using his hands. But alas he couldn't... Ink was so unique. And surprisingly that's all Error had thought about that night. The small Creator and Protector of AUs.
