My dancer (Kai X Reader)

You were in a girl group and you had to rehearse your choreography so you had driven to the dance studio that was empty

You- hey jack

Jack was the owner of the dance studio

Jack- hey y/n, how is your group going?

You- good, we just won number one on MCountdown

Jack- ah, i'm so happy for you

You- thanks, i just came to rehearse for a couple of hours hope thats ok

Jack- that's fine, i'll set up the speakers for you

You- thanks

As he left to set up the speakers you set down your bag and started stretching

Jack- ok everythings ready for you

You- thanks jack you're the best

Jack- no problem, i'll be in my office if you need me

You- thanks

He leaves and you grab you phone and hook it up to the aux cord then you play your groups song and practice for about two hours then you hear jack on the phone so you decide to listen in on his coversation

Jack- you can come by, there's only one other person here i'm pretty sure you guys can share space

You kept listening to him and then you heard

Jack- ok Kai, bye

You went back to practicing like nothing happened and then 20 minutes later jack came up to you

Jack- hey y/n

You- yeah?

Jack- umm, kai is supposed to come here and rehearse and i told him that i would be here but i have some family business to take care of so can you

You- lock up when we're done? Gotcha

Jack- thanks y/n you're awesome and don't forget to tell kai why i had to leave

You- i won't

You go back to practicing as he leaves and then you decide to freestyle dance a bit. You turn on Body Party by Ciara and then in the middle of the song you hear the door open and you look and see nobody other than Kai.

Kai- where's Jack?

You- family business, he said lock up when we're done

He didn't respond to you he just nodded and sat his stuff down

Kai- i need to rehearse can you just stay over there and i'll stay over here

You roll your eyes at his comment and go back to dancing and then after the song ends you look over at kai who was already looking at you

You- were you staring at me?

Kai- nope

You- then what were you looking at

Kai- somebody who can't freestyle dance to save her soul

You shoot him a evil glare and then turn on your groups music again and start rehearsing again until you got interrupted.

Kai- that's wrong

You- what

Kai- that was wrong

You- i should know my part i am in the group you know

Kai- just because you're in a group doesn't mean you get the part
