Chapter 80: Disney

"Good morning cutie!" Dan said as you woke up. "Good morning Danny," you replied. "This might sound weird, but I love watching you sleep," Dan giggled. You smiled and ruffled his hair. "Hey! I just styled this!" he protested. You laughed, "I'm gonna go take a shower."

When you walked out of the bathroom, Dan was smiling. "What are you smiling about Danny?" You asked. "DISNEYLAND!" he yelled, and you laughed. He engulfed you in a giant hug and held you tightly. "You're the cutest," you said, and he giggled. He turned around and crouched down. "Hop on!" he exclaimed. You jumped onto his back, and he rode you over to Woody and Paxton's room. He knocked on the door, and Woody answered. "Come on guys! Let's get moving! Disneyland here we come!" Dan cheered. "We're ready!" Paxton called, and joined you in the hallway.

Dan put a disc in the CD player, and Disney songs started to play. "You didn't," I giggled. "Oh, but I did!" Dan exclaimed and turned the playlist up. "He really likes Disney, doesn't he?" Paxton asked. You nodded, "Apparently!"

When you entered the park, Dan ran up to Mickey Mouse. "Take a picture!" Dan insisted, and you did. He gave Mickey a high five before running back to you. He held your hand in his, and ran to a ride. "This is gonna be the best day ever!" he exclaimed, and you kissed his cheek. Before you pulled away, he turned his head so your lips were now on his. "Sneaky little bastard," you giggled when he pulled away. He hugged you, "I'm just so happy!" he said. "I love you cutie," you gushed. "I love you more gorgeous," he replied. "Shh! You're making me blush!" you said. You poked his nose, and he laughed. "Wait, where did Paddy go?" you asked. "Paddy?" Dan questioned, raising an eyebrow. "Woody and Paxton!" you exclaimed. "Oh! I get it!" Dan laughed, "I'll text Woody and tell him to meet us here!" he suggested.

A few minutes later, they skipped towards you hand in hand. You waved to them, and they jumped in line with you. Dan wrapped his arm arm around you. "Do you know what day it is?" he asked while grinning. You thought for a second, but then shook you head. "IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY!" he yelled and threw his arms into the air. "YAY!" you replied and hugged him. "I can't believe we've been married for a year!" he exclaimed. "I love you Danny," you said. "I love you more Maddy!" he replied. "Aw!" Paxton cooed. Dan gave you a hug, and you kissed his cheek.

After a very fun day at Disneyland you and Dan went out for dinner. When you arrived back at the hotel, Dan said he had a present for you. "I feel bad because I didn't get you anything," you said, and Dan placed a finger to your lips. "Shh! I don't want any gifts anyways!" Dan replied. He pulled a little jewelry box from his pocket, and handed it to you. Inside was a gold locket. You opened it, and engraved on the inside was 'I have written you down, now you will live forever.' You got Dan to help you put the necklace on. "Thanks!" you said and gave him a hug. "That's only half of the present," he said and handed you a piece of paper.

"Is this a song?" you asked Dan. He nodded. "It's beautiful," you whispered and he walked over to his keyboard. You handed him the lyrics, and he sang it to you. You clapped for him when he had finished. You ran up and kissed him. "You are perfect Daniel," you said. "Far from it, actually," he replied, "but you on the other hand, you truly are perfection Madeline." You kissed him again. "I love you so much," you whispered. "I love you even more," he whispered back, and wrapped his arms around your waist.
