Wednesday morning Gabby did her hair, makeup, and got dressed all before Alex even got out of the guest room. Her mom was cooking waffles with bacon and eggs.

"Do you want milk or orange juice?"her mom asked

"Orange juice."they said in unison

They laughed at how they did that unplanned.

"Bye mom love you."Gabby said

"Love you too."

When they got to school people were staring at them. They finally found Zoey.

"Why are people staring at us?"Gabby asked her

"Well you because apparently you stood up to two guys in two days and him because he's the one you stood up for and everyone calls him the "playboy"."Zoey answered

"When did you stand up the second guy?"Alex asked

"Detention."she replied

"Why?"

"Because he was rude,  obnoxious, he got on my nerves, and he called you "the playboy"."Gabby answered

"Who?"

"Jackson Falls."

"Oh no oh no oh no. I'm dead."

"What?!"

"I take PE with him and also did you not realize he's your partner in Biology."

"Ohhh no we're screwed. We're in trouble."

"Guys I'm sooo confused what's happening?"Zoey asked

"What do you mean?"

"Umm turn around."

"Crap Zoey why didn't you say anything earlier? Run."Gabby exclaimed

"Why?!"

"Just run I'll explain while we are heading to class."she said
"If we make it that far."she whispered to herself

All Gabby could think when she saw those two people, Cole, and Jackson was that this school year was gonna be a long year.

"Gabby what's going on and why are we running?"Alex asked pulling her and Zoey in a janitors closet

"Okay we're running because people are going to be chasing us for the rest of the school year if they find out who we are. And the peopl-"Gabby was explaining when the door burst open

"Well well well if it isn't little miss Gabby Fletcher and her best friend. Oh and what have we here?"they said in a mocking tone

"Leave us alone!"Zoey yelled

"What'd we ever do to you?!"

"Who's this?"they asked again

"I'm A-Alex."he stuttered knowing who the person was

"Ohh well in that case why don't you all meet us at the fountain later after school? We need to make new friends."

"Sure."Zoey replied quicker than they could think

"Great see you then."

"Zoey what have you done?!"Gabby said

"I'm trying to make more friends."she replied

"Those aren't people you need to be making friends with those are the people who chased us into the closet."

"Why?"Zoey asked

"Those are the people who dunked me in a fountain last year and they are about to do it to you and I won't allow it if Zoey is going we're all going."Alex shuddered at the memory

"It's fine we'll all go."Gabby told Alex

All through school Gabby couldn't stop thinking about the fountain and those two people which she already disliked.

-lunch-

At lunch Gabby was thinking about after school again and then she remembered she had detention.

"Oh crap."Gabby exclaimed

"What?!"Alex asked

"Guys I forgot I have detention after school. I think I can tell him I have to do something for my mom after school."she said

"No you need to go to detention we'll wait for you because they didn't say what time to meet."Alex told her

"Okay I guess but don't y'all dare leave me."

"We won't."Zoey said for the first time since they sat down

The bell rang symbolizing the after lunch rush to 5th hour.
