Part 18

Detention

When Gabby arrived in the detention room everyone stared at her with shocked faces.

"What's she doing in here?"one girl whispered to another

"I thought she was a good girl what'd she do?"one guy whispered to the person next to him

"I yelled at a student because the made me really mad and it disturbed the class okay."Gabby said to the whole class

"Dang girl you feisty with some power."

Gabby didn't know how to reply. She found a seat on the other side of the room away from everyone and stayed there. 

"I understand how you feel."someone whispered

"What do you mean?"Gabby asked

"You feel alone in here because you don't deserve this punishment."

"I kinda do. And who are you?"

"I'm Artie and I'm part of the drama club and a lot of other clubs too."

"Cool I'm Gabby and I'm part of a lot of clubs too." 

"Are you that girl everyone's talking about that stood up to the star football player?"Artie asked

"So I've heard but I didn't know he was."

"You are like the coolest girl to everyone including some teachers." 

"Thanks I guess."

"You're welcome."

Artie walked over to some of the people on the other side of the room. Soon he came back and a few people were following him.

"Guys this is the girl who stood up to Cole Azwall."

"You're like the best person ever that guy has bullied me since middle school and when someone stood up to him he stopped. Just out of no where I wasn't getting pushed and made fun of anymore."one girl said she looked like she was a junior. She had brown hair and brown eyes.

"Yeah you're sooo cool."another girl with blonde hair and brown eyes said

"Yeah you're pretty cool I guess."

"Really Jackson that's all you can say this girl stood up to the guy who back stabbed u and that's all you can say. I'm sorry he's being so rude he's normally not like this."the blonde said

"It's okay. I'm not really used to attention or anything so it's fine."Gabby told them

"So are you like a nerd or something?"Jackson asked

"Or something. I'm not a nerd but I make straight A's. I'm not a jock but I'm pretty good at sports. And I'm not preppy but I have good fashion sense. I enjoy standing up for my friends when it's needed and all I was doing was standing up for one of my friends when they weren't around because Cole was making fun of him."

"Dang girl."he replied

"Don't get any ideas I'm taken." 

"Ok then. Who's your boyfriend?"

"Alex Redmond."she said proudly

"Ohh the playboy."

"Do you want to get your butt beat just like Cole cause I ain't afraid to beat you sorry but you look like you haven't hit the gym in like about 2 years."

"So that's your friend you were standing up for. And actually I was at the gym last week."

"Then you need some harder exercises."Gabby said

Jackson just walked away back to his seat.

"Ok so now you've stood up to the star football player and the strongest guy in 11th grade. Wow Gabby."Artie said

"I've never anyone to have that much courage and be that confident."the brunette said"and my name is Ashley."

"Hehe I guess that's just me courageous and confident."Gabby said

"Wow I wonder who you're gonna stand up to next"the blonde said"and my name is Kasey."

"Nice to meet y'all."
