That morning when Amanda's parents walked into her room and saw her laying there lifeless, they're whole world crashed. It was her birthday, they all had something planned for her today. Her best friend was going to come over later and they would all go out for breakfast where they would lead her to her surprise party later tonight. Amanda has been laying there for 6 hours now, dead. No one knew. People ask "If a tree falls down in a forest and theres no one around to hear it, does it still make a sound." The answer is yes. If theres no one around to see Amanda kill herself, did she still do it? Yes she did. The thing about a fallen tree is a new one will grow in its place. There will never be another Amanda. Later that day when everyone is gathered in the kitchen, before anyone had the guts to open their letters, they all said one last prayer to Amanda, hoping she'll receive it in Heaven.
Opening the first letter. "Dear Mom..." By the end of it her whole body was wracked with sobs. Following by Dad, then Sister, then Brother, then Best friend.
They all wanted to say "I didn't know."
But they did
They all did.
All along.
