Chapter Forty

"What the fuck are you talking about, I'm not leaving."

"Oh yes the hell you are, right now!"

"I don't have time for this I'm not going anywhere, especially if this is because I won't impregnate you again. For Christ's sakes Mya we have a healthy baby in the other room waiting for his bottle," I point out the bottle that is still in her hands.

"This isn't about the right now, it's about the fact that Carolina saw you hugged up with your ex at the shop!"

"We were just catching up, she showed me her baby, if you would have just called and asked me about this instead of accusing me as soon as I walk through the goddamn door we wouldn't be having this problem."

"Why should I ask you, all you are going to do is lie?"

"About what, Harriett came to the job because she wasn't able to get in contact with me because she is blocked on my phone. I told her about our wedding and the baby, we hugged because that was my way of saying good-bye. And why the fuck are you even listening to what Carolina says?"

"She's my best friend."

"And there are some best friends out there that don't like to see theirs succeed in life, like her."

"Oh please, we all know that if Envy would have seen me out with an ex you would believe them."

"Yes because I have seen you out with your ex, twice, but whatever you say," I try to walk around her but she just keeps on stepping right in front of me.

"Maybe you didn't hear me right but when I said that you are not staying here, I meant that you are not staying here."

"For how long?"

"Until I say so!" she yells walking away from me into the back.

"You really believe her over me, I'm telling the truth!" I yell feeling as though I am going through an outer body experience with everything that is going on. "Fine, I'll leave, but don't come crying to me when you find out what a bitch of a friend you have in Carolina," I snatch the bags up walking out the front trying hard not to slam it shut behind me.
