"Tanner you have been in there for days, what are you doing in there?" Mya yells turning the knob of the nursery. Sucks for her because I locked it.

"Something important babe," I reply putting the last screw to the crib in.

"How long are you going to take, I haven't seen you in a while."

You seen me this morning?

"I don't know seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, maybe years, who knows."

"Let me come in so that I can help you."

"Nope."

"The hell are you doing in there Tanner! You have been going in with boxes, you're not telling me anything that is going on, and the house still isn't finished."

Please don't remind me.

"Just give me a minute will you Mya!"

"Don't catch no attitude with me, you're the one keeping secrets around here."

"I'm not I'm ju-" I drop the tools that was in my hands before I bash them in my skull. "Go lay down or something."

"I literally just woken up to find you not in bed, again."

"Then go take a nap."

"Look I already know that you are decorating the nursery."

"Good girl, now if you can just back away from the door and do something with your life."

"I want to help."

"Mya when we first moved in and I asked you to help me unpack everything, you said no because you're pregnant."

"So?"

"So with you asking to help out I am gladly going to say no because you're pregnant," I burst out laughing listening to her stomping her feet walking away. I still have a few more things to finish up in here. I want everything to be complete before I can fully show Mya the room. This morning I was thinking about calling Envy and the boys to see if he wanted to come by and help, but I knew that would make Mya more anxious to look at the room.

I didn't buy too many items because I wanted to wait until the baby shower, don't want his room looking like a toy store. But I did get him a teddy bear that was holding a saxophone.

Genius I know.

I also manage to find a lady that makes nursery bedding and gave her some fabrics that had a lot of instruments and music notes on them. Even though there was a lot of fabric with instruments on them, this one in particular had a saxophone on it. A little gift of mines that Mya doesn't know about is that I am a self-taught saxophone player, been playing since I was ten.

And let me tell I can play a mean saxophone.

Back to the nursery.

If we were having a girl like I want I would have turned this room into a secret garden theme nursery with short vines dangling from the ceiling throughout the room. The walls will still be blue, but without the musical notes border. I would have painted clouds and pastel flowers on the wall where the crib is going to be. But I am not having a girl, I'm having a boy. Well Mya is having a boy I just happen to plant the seed inside of her.

Am I now excited about having a son, no not yet? I think that once the baby is born I will probably come to terms about everything.

"God my back is killing me!" I cry, literally, as I sit down on the couch where Mya is currently sleeping.

Hm must be nice.

"You smell like straight ass," she mutters wiping the sleep out of her eyes.

"Thanks babe, that is exactly what I want to hear after putting up all of the furniture in their right area. Then I have to attempt to decorate since you're so tired, so excuse me if I am not smelling like sunshine and roses at the moment."

"You smell like roses alright," she laughs sitting up a little bit. "I'm sorry but this boy is just taking all the energy out of me. So when do I get to see the nursery?"

"When I am done with it," that causes her eyes to shot wide open.

"Excuse me?"

"I just feel like it's not ready for you to see it yet, it's not complete."

"Please don't tell me that I am going to be waiting longer to see the room?"

"Fine I won't tell you," I get up listening to her sigh dramatic.

"I can't stand you Tanner!"

"I love you too."
