Waking up was blissful. I felt every weight that had been on my shoulders lift when I sensed a presence beside me and realised it was Brodie. I pulled the covers up to my chin, grinning to myself as I watched his chest slowly rise and fall. Watching him sleep was breathtaking.

I looked at my phone, my eyes widening at the four missed calls from Ella, and as I realised it was 8am. A small smile found its way to my face as the memories of the night before replayed in my head. I threw on some clothes before taking my phone and texting Ella, asking her to come over. Her response being she was already on her way.

We sat in my kitchen, the thought of Brodie sleeping upstairs had my heart fluttering as I sat with my best friend. She was rambling on about Colton's college plans and how she was going to move to Florida with him so he could study Accounting and she could attend her Senior year in a high school over there. I nodded as I half-listened to what she had to say. My mind was elsewhere, and she had noticed. She also automatically knew why. She cleared her voice and I blinked, bringing myself back to reality. She had that look on her face, the I know what you've done accusing look she had perfected and I automatically began wishing her child the best luck for trying to keep secrets.

"What?" I looked at her, sharing the accusing look. I had no idea what I was accusing her of, but with the look being shared, she didn't terrify me so much. Her face softened, a confident smirk replacing the anger.

"You  did it, didn't you?" She rose her eyebrows, her smirk lifting one side of her mouth as she gently pushed my shoulder. I tried my best to play it cool, to act innocent. We both knew she'd see through it, but I did anyway. I took a sip of my coffee, savouring the taste before replying.

"I don't know what you mean."

"You know..." She rolled her eyes, "it." I couldn't help but laugh, she was acting as if she was the innocent one in the room. I didn't think so somehow.

"You're the pregnant one and you can't even say the word sex." I rolled my eyes back at her, still laughing.

"I can." Her voice had become defensive. "You had sex with Brodie last night, didn't you?" The word was strained, but I had to admit she did say it. The blush rising up my cheeks confirmed her suspicion as I noticed Colton, Miles and a girl I didn't recognise approaching the french doors. I shot her a look telling her to drop the subject as I guided everyone into the dining room.

"Colton, congratulations on getting into Florida! Ella was telling me your plans this morning, it sounds incredible. I knew you could do it, nerd." I hugged him tightly, whispering to him that if he fucked up, I'd kill him. He laughed.

"Thanks, Rhea." We all took a seat, "Did you do it?" He turned to Ella, his face lighting up as soon as he looked at her. I rested my face on my hand as I watched them. They were the most perfect couple. She shook her head excitedly, but something was bothering me, so I stopped them before I even had a chance to become suspicious of whatever news they had to share.

"Um, Miles. Who's sitting in my dining room?" I looked at him, shrugging expectantly, my bottom lip moving slightly over my top as it did when I was being accusing. I hated it, even more so right now as I remembered a time when Miles used to call it cute and kiss it softly. I shook the memory out of my head. It was once

"You, Ella, Colton, me," his gaze lifted above my head just as two hands placed themselves on my shoulders, slowly beginning to give me a massage, "and apparently, Brodie." He said sarcastically, and I couldn't help but miss the annoying bastard that sat opposite me.

"Brodie Maguire?" The unknown voice squeaked. I looked at her, my eyebrows raised before looking at Brodie, who thankfully, had decided it was a good idea to put a considerable amount of clothes on. His face looked as blank as mine did.

"Yes?"

"Oh. My. God." She paused between each word, her hands covering her mouth as if he was some sort of celebrity. I still had no idea who she was. He pulled a chair so he could sit beside me, taking both of my hands inside of his. He gently massaged my hands with his thumbs as he looked at her — as we all looked at her — waiting for her to continue. "I'm the paralegal at your dads firm! He doesn't stop speaking about you when we're not with people." Brodie unsuccessfully tried to hide the shock. He shook his head, regaining control of his emotions. He nodded once, looking at me and kissing me on the cheek, clearly not caring much for the girl. I couldn't say I did either.

"This is my girlfriend, Louise. Lou, this is everyone I've told you about — except Brodie." Brodie raised his eyebrows at the comment as Lou said hello to everyone. Her voice was shrill and she seemed to be overexcited about everything. I turned my head back to Ella and Colton, my eyes begging them to continue.

"We're moving to Florida two weeks after Graduation." Ella shrieked excitedly, Colton's grin matching hers as they looked at each other. I glanced at Brodie in horror, but he was nodding slowly, in what could only been said to be approval.

"That's cool, at least I'll know someone when I arrive." My heart sunk automatically. Brodie, in Florida?
