Chyanne's POV
"Ok black dress or red dress?" I asked Quavo
"No dress. Babe, you're meeting my family not going to the Grammys.
So just wear some jeans and a shirt and call it a day." He said
"Alright, but you have to help me pick that out too" I said
He got off the bed and walked over to me. He looked around at my side of the closet and picked out my whole outfit, including a purse in less than 20 seconds.
"Here you go" he said handing me my stuff
I walked out the closet and set my things on the bed
"How did you do that so fast?" I asked
"I really don't know but go take a shower so we can get going" he said plopping back down on the bed.
After about 10 minutes, I got out and flat ironed my hair. I put on my clothes and made my way over to the closet to grab my shoes when i seen a big black brief case. I opened it and a whole bunch of money that was neatly stacked together. I closed it and just shrugged it off, grabbing my heels. I walked in the living room and he was on the couch typing away on his phone, not even realizing I was standing in front of him.
"You ready?" I asked
"Yeah, lets go" he said getting off the couch

About 20 minutes later we arrived to his parents house.
Tons and Tons of cars were parked outside, making me more nervous.
He noticed that I was shaking violently so he stopped and grabbed my hands before we walked in.
"Relax. My family is really laid back, I promise they will love you" He said laughing
"I know but still-
"Still nothing. Just relax, ok?" He asked looking me in my eyes
"Yes" i said
He kissed me which instantly calmed me down
He pulled my hand and we walked into the house. We walked into the living room and it's like all eyes were on me and me only. I instantly froze.
All of Quavo's cousins and uncles came over to him, greeting him and dapping him up. One of them finally noticed me and his eyes grew wide
"Q, this you?" he asked. They all turned around and landed there eyes on me
I started to feel a little uncomfortable but I just flashed a small smile and waved
"Yes indeed" he said wrapping his arm around me, kissing my forehead
"What's your name?" one of them said
"Chyanne" i said kinda quietly
"Aw she's shy" another one said
"Y'all leave my ba-"
Quavo was cut off by another voice
"Why are all of you bo- Oh... Oh my God" said a short, light skinned lady.
"You are more beautiful than he described!" she said pulling me into a hug
"Thank you" i said kind of confused
"Chy, this is my mother Tyra. Ma, this is Chyanne, my girlfriend" Quavo said introducing us
"Hi" i said shyly
"Aww, she's shy" she said
"That's what I said" said one of his cousins
"Shut up, Greg. Come on to the kitchen with me darling, let these men be... men" she said giving them a look
"Ma, don't scare her away" Quavo said
"Boy hush" she said

For the past almost hour, I got to know the female side of Quavo's family
He had 3 aunts Tiana, Tisha, and Tammy.
Tiana had 4 kids. Denise and Daisy, who were twins that were my age and Daniel and Donnel who were 15 and 13
Tisha had 3 kids. Sally and Raina who were 9 and 7, and a new born baby boy, KJ.
Tammy had all 4 girl. Gabby is 21, Katrina is the same age as I am, Dajah is 16, and Angelica is 10.
Then finally, there was Ashely. She's Quintin's girlfriend and she is 22, they've been together for 3 years.
"So you telling me, Quavo came up to you and gave you back your notebook and when you got home, his number was in there?" asked Gabby
"Yup." I said helping her set the table
"That is so sweet. It's surprising to hear because, Quay is not the type to really be with a girl. He's very respectful towards women, but he's just never brought a girl around to family functions." She said
"Really?" I asked kind of surprised
"Girl yes! Do you see that man over there glowing?" she said pointing over to him
I looked over at my baby. He was sexy as hell. He was laughing and talking with his brother, showing off his straight pearly teeth.
"Alright girl, you can come back" she said laughing
"I'm sorry" I laughed
"It's ok, but yeah. Whatever you're doing, keep it up. Keep my twin happy." she said smiling and nudging me
"I will, I promise" I said looking over at him again. This time, he caught my glance and motioned for me to come over to where he was.
I walked over to where him and his brother were.
"Hey Quintin" I said giving him a side hug
"Hey lil mama, you been treating my brother well?" he asked
"Of course" i said smiling
"You better be but let me go find my girl" he said walking away
After he walked off, Quay wrapped his arms around me securely and kissed me multiple times.
"I missed you" he said
"I missed you more" I said
"When we go home, We making triplets because you look good as hell right now" he said whispering in my ear
I laughed and shook my head
"Alright everybody, it's time to eat!" his mom said shouting from the dining room
We made our way hand in hand to the dining room finding a seat.
When everybody was seated and situated, his aunt Tammy said grace for what felt like an hour
".... in Jesus name we pray, amen" she said
"Amen" we all said together in unison
"Alright everybody, digg in!" his mom said
We all took turns passing plates all around the table. After we was done with that, we all had our little side conversations.
"You good, right?" he asked
"Yeah, i'm fine. Your whole family is really cool" i said
Thats the actual truth. Everybody either greeted me with a warm smile or a hug.
"I would like to make a toast" Quay's mother said holding up her glass
"I just want to thanks everybody for coming here tonight. I would also like to welcome Chyanne to the family as well. You're a very sweet girl, darling. Just continue to love my son and take care of him because lord knows he needs it" she said
Everyone laughed including myself
"These annual get-togethers are a reminder of why we all have such a strong bond and I want to keep it that way til the grave. To The Marshalls!" she said
"The Marshalls" everyone said in unison
"Before we all go our separate ways..." Quintin started, speaking up "I would like to say something as well"
Quintin stood up and walked over to Ashely and pulled her chair back so she was facing him.
He got down on one knee and grabbed her hand. Instantly, everybody started screaming, pulling out their phones.
" For 3 whole years....we put up with each other, cried on each others shoulders, argued about every little thing, laughed together, but most of all loved each other. I don't think anybody in the room understands how much I adore and admire you, Ashely. You are the light at the end of my tunnel, my angel on earth, and everything more. Now that you're carrying my first child, I don't want this to just end here at 3 years. I want you forever and ever."
He pulled out a tiny black box and opened it revealing a huge ring
Ashely's mascara was heavily running down her face
"Ashely Rene Wilkins, will you marry me?
"Yes! A million times, Yes!" she said trying to control her tears
He slipped the huge ring on her finger and everybody clapped and cheered for them.
I looked over at Ms.Tyra and she was crying a million and one tears.
I leaned against Quavo and smiled at how hopefully that would be us as well one day, but the difference is... our child will most likely already be here. Him and I kept thinking of ways to tell his parents that I was pregnant but we came up with nothing so far. Not only do we have to tell his, we have to tell mine as well.
I dismissed the thought and got up and went over to Ashely and Quintin to congratulate them along with other family members.

After we cleaned up, we went to the living room to play games, talk and other things.
By the night was over, Daisy, Denise, Gabby, Katrina, and Ashely's gave me their numbers to keep in touch.
Since we were all in the same age range and that we all clicked so well as a group, we all agreed to stay close. Plus, I no friends besides Quavo. I love my man, and I definitely loved spending time with him but sometimes I needed to have a girl related type of function and now that I was cool with the girls, that could actually start to happen.
"Alright ma, pops, we out" Quavo said
"Alright, you guys drive home safe and it was nice seeing you again Chy" his father said hugging me
"Nice seeing you too, Mr. Andrew"
"Awwwwwww my baby is leaving" his mom said making her way over to me. I laughed and gave her a big hug
"I'll be back to visit, Ms. Tyra" I said laughing
"You better!... and YOU" she said pointing at Quavo
"You better take good care of her, I really like her. I don't want to see you let her go. " she said hugging him
"Drive home safely and text me when you get there"
"Tyra, stop smothering them and let'em leave" his father said
She waved him off and turned back to us
"Alright guys, love you!" she said waving
When we got home, I peeled off all of my clothes and fell into bed.
Quavo turned off the bathroom light and joined me in bed, wrapping his arms around my wait
"So, you still want them 2 extra kids put inside you?" he said
"No Quay, don't to-" I was interrupted by my phone ringing on the dresser
"Ughhhhhhh" i said
I sat up and looked at the caller ID :
Mommy👸🏻💗
My eyes got wide and picked up instantly
"Hey mommy" i said
"Hey baby girl, I got good news!!" she said nearly squealing through the phone
"What is it?" i asked
"Your father and I got the week off so we decided to come see you!! We should be there by tomorrow or so, aren't you exited!?" she asked
"Yeah I am!" i said
"No, im not" i thought in my mind....
