Nations go through relapses, in which they are triggered by bad memories of their past. They get pulled into severe bouts of depression and suffer from nightmares, anxiety, mental/eating disorders, and suicidal thoughts. Nations will harm themselves like they have in the past, hurting themselves in one day as much as they had in an entire year. Denmark has had the longest and most severe relapse, which lasted two years. His nightmares would get so bad that he refused to let himself sleep, and the critisizing words of the other Nations hurt him more severly.
