During his human life, Austria was a composer. He came up with what is now the Lavender Town theme song when he heard the tune over and over in his nightmares. He started hallucinating and hearing voices in his head, telling him he needed to die. On the night he took his own life, he burned the sheet music for the song so no one else would suffer the same fate as him. He forgot to burn one page.
