When Prussia died, Germany refused to talk to anyone. He just stayed inside all day with the curtains drawn and the doors locked, staring at a photo of him and Prussia when they were younger. He stopped going out to train, and never tidied up anymore. One day, Italy had had enough and went to visit his friend. He found Germany lying on the bathroom floor, blood pooling from the deep cuts in his wrists. Italy began to sob and held the younger nation tightly in his arms. Germany looked up at the ceiling, his eyes glazed over. His last words before he died were, "I can see him. I can see Gilbert."
