"No hyung, she needs to finish it!" Jungkook said curving both of his eyebrows...

He's acting weird since this morning
What's gotten into him??

"Jungkook, haven't you remember the company's rules? workers are allowed not to work too much when the company has special events.." he smirked

I've had enough with this arguments..

"I'll see you later then Taehyung, I'll go ahead, I'll continue with my work" I accepted the box and smiled

He nodded in response but before he left he noticed jungkook's fiancé

"Oh hey Verna, I didn't notice you there... I'm sorry, by the way see you at the party later" he said then left

Then I heard the girl spoke

"I see Taehyung hasn't changed yet jungkook oppa, but thank god you still recognize me from those 2 years that I wasn't with you, I MISSED YOU SO SO MUCH!!" she squealed..

Woah.. 3 years was just the gap, but jungkook forgot me so easily wtf..

I almost teared up hearing her words but still I acted calmer and continued on what I'm doing..

"Oh jungkook oppa I need to go now, so I could choose the best dress for later, I need to go bye" before she left she planted a soft kiss on jungkook's cheeks..

I continued writing as I ignored jungkooks presence...

I feel nervous right now since we're left alone again..

"Why did you accept taehyung's offer as his date in the anniversary?" He asked all of a sudden,

Making me flinch

"Because he invited me too.. And he's secretary's sick, so I needed to.." I I responded still focusing on the papers

"What if my girlfriend was sick too? Would you accept it if I offer the same to you?" He asked

Wait what?

"Uh.. I--ahh...I don't know" I answered
"Why don't you know?" He asked

"I just don--- aish.. I need to focus on my works" I huffed a sight

"Jungha, you haven't finish answering my question earlier, do you love him? Do you love Taehyung?" He asked

"Uh huh? Uh... I don't know" I said

"Yes or no?" He asked

"Hmm...let me think.. I choose, Or?" I answered more like a question

"Answer me seriously jungha" he said

"Honestly sir, I really don't know" I lied I don't love Taehyung, I like him as a friend..

After the conversation we stayed silent for hours

When I noticed the time that it was already 5:00 I cleaned my table packed my stuff and stood up from my seat..

"I'll get going now sir... See you at the party later" I bowed giving him a smile

"See you too...." He said

I left the office and sighed
Guess things sort out just like that...

Taehyung brought me in a parlor more like 2-3 girls are doing my hair and make up, after they did everything

I wore the dress that Taehyung gave me it was a simple lavender dress since the party's motif is lavender for girls and white suit for boys

It fits perfectly on me, it was just simple but I like it, it was also paired with a high heel I'm not used to wear high heels... I swear my feet will feel sore later..

See?!? Its so long..

After changing and shit.. I walked slowly towards taehyung's car and knocked on the door..

"Taehyung! Open up" I said

He opened the door

"O my gawd!! Jungha is that you?!? You look stunning today.. To be very honest you look beautiful than Verna" he chuckled

"I'll take that as a compliment.. By the way I'll pay for all of this" I said

"No no no, its all yours no need" he said

"No.. But's!! I insist" he said

"Just in case you fall with that heels I'm here to catch you.." He winked

We entered inside the venue as the beautiful ladies and handsome men in suit welcomed us..

"Excuse myself Taehyung, but can I roam around?" I asked
"Oh, sure but call me if you need something" he said

"Sure" I assured him with a smile

I roam around the place little by little by talking to random coworkers until I felt my feet soring from the heels..

Oh shit

I slowly walked outside of the venue finding a bench to sit on and massage my feet, after I found a bench, I sat down from it and

Took off my goddamn heels
But before I could massage my feet someone knelt down in front of me and insisted on massaging it..

I realized it was

"Sir..."
