• CHAPTER 19 •

"No-nothing Taehyung..."

"What do you mean nothing? Your crying, so it means you're badly hurt... Aish come with me" he said

Before I could speak up he dragged me towards his office..

I sat at the couch wiping my tears off..

Then he sat down beside me and started the conversation..

"So... What happened?" He asked staring deeply into my dark brown orbs....

"I told you it was nothing, something just went inside my eye.." I lied

"Aisshh.. Jungha, stop lying... You know I'm here to listen.. Is it because of jungkook?" He said gritting his teeth..

No.. I can't tell him... He's jungkooks best friend... I don't want to cause trouble...

"A-ni ani, its not about him.. Its just that my head hurts.. And so I cried.. Because it really does.." I lied while touching my head to make my excuse more realistic..

I hope its not obvious that I lied...

"I see..." Taehyung responded..

I smiled and nodded

"By the way jungha, can you be my date for tomorrow's company anniversary.. As you can see my secretary's sick hehe" he said rubbing his nape in embarrassment

"Sure.. No problem" I smiled

"Thank you" he responded then I was in shock when i felt two arms wrapped around me...

This is what I need right now.. Someone to comfort me but not with Taehyung.. His jungkook's friend oops correction, his bestfriend..

"So... Tomorrow at six?" He asked
"Oh, sure..but I don't have something to wear tho.." I blushed in embarrassment..

Fvck this cheeks..

"Aigoo.. So cute~~ don't worry ill provide the dress, wait um see you here in the office tomorrow, ill be giving it to you here since I don't know where you live" he chuckled..

"Sure..I'll get going now Taehyung.." I stood up and bowed

And he nodded in response

I opened my bag to get my phone but my phone was no where to be found inside my bag..

"Shoot my phone!" I don't want to go back to jungkooks office, but urghhh ..
Oops I didn't notice Taehyung was still there...

"Oh.. Sorry, I need to go back to jungkooks office to get my phone.. So yeah bye.." I said smiling awkwardly at him

"Wait jungha, I'll go with you, I have to say something to jungkook too.. So shall we get going now?" He said

I nodded in response

We walked together through the hallways to get to jungkook's office

As we reached in his office I opened the door without uttering a word with him... I approached my table grabbing my phone but before I could walk away he called me

"Jungha!"

"What?" I responded coldly without looking at him

"I need you tomorrow for the aniver--" before he could finish his sentence Taehyung butted in

"I'll be her date, I already asked her"

"Wait what?! She's my secretary.. That's the rules!" He said gritting his teeth while balling his fists

"My secretary's sick. Jungkook, and its fine to borrow a secretary right?" Taehyung said keeping his smirk on

"But!hyung she's assigned with me! She's my property! You can't just steal her from me!" Jungkook said raising his voice..

Is he mad?!?

"Did you forget jungkook?.. Your beloved fiancé will be your date for tomorrow... She will be home by tomorrow morning.. So that's why I'm borrowing your secretary.. Haha.. So that means its fair....I can have jungha for the whole night tommorow... And by the way I'm not stealing her.. I'm just borrowing her" Taehyung chuckled

Fi-fiancé.... ?

My heart shattered into pieces..hearing that Jungkook has a fiancé... Already?

"I- I need to go now.. S-see you tomorrow..Taehyung.." I said running away holding back my tears..

I ran all the way from jungkook's office to the parking lot to get my bike while sobbing...

When I reached home, I slammed the door shut and run upstairs

Bursting out crying this pain in my chest just hurt so much...

I want to forget him, all our memories.. Those Memories we spent from 13.. Years.. The memories that I've cherished.. A lot..

But I'm confused..

Should I really forget the past? Or should I just keep it inside...

I should be strong....

From now on I'll forget you, Jeon Jungkook......

I'll miss you....
