DANIEL’S POV:

Good day. We would like to invite you to the opening of the Casa de Coches , next Saturday, 3PM. See you there.

Kanina ko pa binabasa yung e-mail na sinend sa’kin ng kaibigan ko. Casa de Coches? Di ba House of Cars ang meaning nun? So, car shop o car museum?

Pre, sama ka ba sa opening? May auction daw. Bring some cash to have some cars.

Auction? Hmmm… Worth a try.

“Casa de Coches, is now open ! “

Pumasok naman kami sa loob pagkatapos ng official na pagbukas ng shop/museum.

 

“Pare, pare ! I want you to meet the owner of Casa de Coches.” humarap naman sa’kin ang isang lalaking nakasuit and tie.

“Daniel, this is Mr. Patrick Bernardo. The owner. Uncle, this is Mr. Daniel Padilla. Also a car lover.”

 

“Good afternoon Mr. Padilla. Nice to know we’re sharing the same interests.” nagshake hands kami.

 

“Good afternoon po Mr. Bernardo. Madami naman pong nahihilig sa kotse ngayon dahil sa mga styles at uniqueness ng mga ito. Yung iba, pangporma lang. They don’t see what’s behind its covers.”

“I agree with you Hijo.” inakbayan niya naman ako. “Let’s discuss more of this matter, shall we?”

Tumango na lang naman ako.

“Are you interested in joining the auction? We’re auctioning the latest brands of Porsches and Ferraris.”

 

“Opo sana. Pero, wala pa po akong enough na pera. Pero in the future po siguro, makakabili na ‘ko ng sarili kong kotse.”

He patted my back.

 

“No worries. We’re also auctioning some brands of BMWs. Di nga lang ganun kalatest kaya mura na.”

 

“Thank you po Sir. Pero next time na lang po siguro.” ngumiti naman ako sa kanya.

“Dad.”

Tumakbo sa kanya ang isang lalaki. Kasing tanda ko lang siguro.

 

“Magsisimula na daw po yung auction.”

 

“Nagtour na ba sila?”

 

“Pagtapos na lang daw Dad.”
