We're Okay (Niall Imagine)

You stood in the small area between the fans and the stage. You were trying to enjoy yourself but all you could think about was the fight you and Niall got into before the show. You had seen a rumor online about Niall and some "mystery girl."

You had been dating Niall for about a month. However, you both agreed to keep your relationship under wraps, only telling close friends and family. Even though you were not public with Niall, you were hurt seeing the pictures. What hurt even worse was that Niall didn't really say anything about the rumor. He didn't deny it, which made your heart drop.

The time came for the boys to play Little Things. Niall began to strum the guitar as Harry began to sing Zayn's solo.

You stood there watching them sing the first two verses and chorus. Then it's time for Niall's solo. But he was staring at the ground strumming mindlessly.

You watched as Niall sat mindlessly strumming, not even realizing that he had missed his solo.

Liam gently nudged him in the side to get his attention.

Everyone in the audience knew he had missed his solo by now. You could hear the whispers from the crowd behind me.

You looked at Lottie who was next to me.

"Is he okay?" She asked.

She didn't know about the argument. Nobody did. The fight happened in the car on the way to the arena. Neither of you liked having your dirty laundry aired so you both pretended that everything was fine backstage. The only thing out of line was that Niall didn't give you a good luck kiss before going on stage.

You couldn't make the words come out of your mouth so you just looked at her with sad eyes and shook your head.

Liam started the chorus over and soon the other guys joined him. Then it was time for Niall's solo again

"You never love yourself half as much as I love you. You'll never treat yourself right-"

"I'm sorry. I..I can't do this." Niall said as he shook his head.

You looked up at your boyfriend with tears in your eyes. You hated seeing how emotional was. And you knew it was because of you and the fight. And you hated that too.

The other boys looked at him in shock. Niall had never stopped a concert.

I watched as Niall made his way over to me.

"I've been dating the most amazing girl for about a month now. And before the show we got in a fight. I just need to know that we're okay." Niall said.

You were shocked at how open he was being. He was the one who said you should keep your relationship private. He said he didn't want you to get hate from fans. Here he was telling 30, 000 people with cell phones and cameras that you were his girlfriend and that he loved you.

He climbed off the stage and made his way over to you.

"Y/N, are we good?" He asked looking at you with sad eyes.

You nodded as you looked at him.

"Yeah, we're okay." You said as you fought back your emotions.

"Y/N, I love you. I'm so sorry about everything. I love you so much." He said.

"I love you too Ni." You said.

He wrapped his arms around you as he buried his face in your shoulder. You could tell there were fans taking videos and pictures of you, but you didn't care. All you cared about was that you and Niall were okay.

Niall finally released his hold on you. He kissed your cheek before climbing onto the stage to continue the rest of the show.

As the last song started you made your way backstage. You stood in the hallway just off the stage. As soon as the boys said goodnight to the crowd they came running off stage.

"Y/n!" Niall said as soon as he saw you. He ran to you and wrapped his arms securely around you.

"I love you, babe. I am so sorry. I love you." He said.

"I love you too." He said.

He pulled away from the hug and cupped your face in his hands. He leaned down and kissed you gently. His hands moved from your face, down to your back. He wrapped one arm around your upper back and the other around your waist as he held you close to him.

You let out a sigh of relief as you stood there in his arms. It felt so good knowing that you were finally in his arms again and that the fight was behind you.
