SANTORINI Greece, a Greek island in the southern Aegean Sea is often dubbed as one of the most visually stunning islands in the whole world. It's a place where the peaceful lives of the locals in their whitewashed houses blend in together with the golden sunsets and the volcanic landscapes. Gabi na at kasama ko ang kapatid ko na si Genevie dito sa Vegan beach kung saan madami paring mga taong nag-e-enjoy habang nag-bonfire sa malawak na beach side.
The Vegan beach in Santorini is very unique, especially at night. Filled with many lively cruises and cafes, the place is very exciting and lively. Hindi ko pinalampas ang pagkakataong kunan iyon ng mga larawan gamit ang night vision camera ko saka i-post yun sa Instagram para i-share sa mga followers ko.
Pagkatapos naming mamasyal sa beach ni Genevie ay bumalik na kami sa penthouse namin sa Casas. Pagdating namin doon, nadatnan namin ang mga magulang namin sa veranda na busy sa paglalambingan sa isa't-isa. Lumapit ako sa kanila saka isa-isang hinalikan.
"Get a room, Fellas." I teased at them.
My mom giggled. "Akala ko ba pupunta kayo sa Museum?"
"Hindi na mom, sa beach na lang kami pumunta at isa pa gabi na." sagot ko.
"Nag-enjoy ba kayo?" dad asked.
Tumango lang kami ni Genevie bago kami pumanhik sa loob at kumuha ng drinks sa kusina. Umupo ako sa stool habang nag-timpla ng crème latte. Si Genevie naman ay ini-on ang tv at inilipat yun sa IBN Channel. Mag-kaiba ang time slot ng Greece at Pilipinas, ahead ng 6 hours ang Pilipinas kaya for sure alas onse na ng gabi doon.
Timing naman at nag-umpisa na yung Late Night oriented talk show ng IBN at kasalukuyang ini-featured ang isang celebrity.
"Celine Harper?" tanong ko.
"Yep, the one and only." sagot ni Genevie saka umupo sa tabi ko.
"What is she doing in the Philippines?"
"I don't know. Vacation, I think?"
Tumango ako. Of course, I know Celine Harper; she's an American socialite. She's also known in the states as bisexual.
Itinuon ko ang atensyon ko sa crème latte habang nakikinig sa live interview.
"So, Celine Welcome to the Philippines, it's very pleasure to visit us here." Anang talk show host na si Roy Iglesias.
"Oh, the pleasure is mine too, Roy. I've been planning to visit this country for a long time and finally I'm here."
I rolled my eyes. "In fairness, ate, ang pangit niya sumagot."
"Shhh...Quiet."
"That's good, So, Celine how would you describe the Philippines so far?" Tanong ulit ni Roy Iglesias.
"The Philippines is great; I never imagine that I could feel this wonderful experience. I totally enjoyed it a lot, from the different cultures the beautiful sceneries and most especially that island called boracay? Ugh! It was just perfect." OA na sagot nito.
"Really, so you've been to Boracay? That's awesome."
"Indeed." sabay tawa.
Genevie also laughed. "Aminin mo, George. Ang hot ni Celine Harper."
Tumaas isang kilay ko saka tiningnan ang mukha ni Celine sa screen. "Maybe."
"So, Celine, how would you define the Filipino celebrities here?" Tanong ulit ng host.
"Oh, nice question, The Filipino celebrities are so damn gorgeous, the guys are so handsome and the girls? They are so beautiful."
"Of course! Iba talaga ang gandang pinay!" proud na sabi ko.
