Chapter 9: Old Friend

Clarke POV:

I'm sitting here at my kitchen table, eating some toast when my mother walks in.

Abby:"Hey sweety"

Clarke:" Her mom, I'll be leaving in abit"

Abby:" Okay no problem, oh yeah, your old friend Maria called the other day when you were at the party."

Clarke:"Oh what did she say?"

Abby:" She wanted to talk to you about something but I said she can call sometime this week."

Clarke:" Okay, Thanks. I'm..."

The doors bell rings. I go up to the door and open it, It's finn.

Finn:"Heyyy Princess, Need a ride to school?"

Clarke:" Finn? Um yeah that would be great thanks."

I grab my bag and wave goodbye to my mom. I close the door behind me and smile at finn.

Clarke:"Thanks for this Finn."

Finn:" Yeah No problem, thought you would want a ride."

I enter his car and we drive off to school.
We arrive 15 minutes early and me and finn go opposite ways.

My phone rings -

Clarke: "Heyyy, Maria how you been?"

Maria: "Oh my god, I've been great, how are you!"

Clarke: "I'm amazing, I'm sorry I didn't return your call the other day, I was out with some friends. My mother told me you had to tell me something."

Maria:"Yes, Uhm well, this might be good news...I'm moving to Mount Weather and I'm going to ArkHigh!"

Clarke:" Holy crap! REALLY! This is great news! When?"

Maria:" In a month or two so I'll call you when I'm positive about when I'm moving!"

Clarke: "I'm so happy, I miss you but I gotta go now, school time."

Maria: "haha okay, love ya Clarke."

Clarke: "Love ya."

I hang up with a big smile on my face.
Maria, My old best friend before I moved back to mount weather. We knew eachother since we were in the 3rd grade and we have been best friends since.

This news has made my day, hopefully nothing gets in the way of that.

I know this isnt as long sorry!
