Androgyny is possibly my favorite type of gender expression. Androgyny is when a person combines traditionally male and female qualities into their everyday attire. For instance a girl may cut her hair short, wear make up, and non gender specific clothing (i.e. a tee shirt and basket ball shorts). Or a guy may grow out his hair and wear skinny jeans and shirts that hug his torso. A guy may also have short hair and wear make up.
Androgynous people usually identify as Agender (neither a boy or girl, a third gender) or neutois (ganderless). However not every androgynous person identifies these ways. Some androgynous people identify as specifically male and female, they just like to mix the aspects of each to fit their personal taste.
