We all know Lydia right? Of course you all do. She, normally, is the first follower you have, if you followed the main storyline.
We all know Lydia's quirks, like how she tends to block doorways and stand directly in your line of fire. Or how instead of sneaking along behind you, she charges into battle, drawing attention to both you and herself.
The point is, she isn't very smart. So, why do we love her so much?
She is a tank. She could wipe out just about anything with ease, however, she tends to go down fairly quickly, as she just rushes into everything.
A warrior like her needs some good armor, right?
Right! So, you get to work right away on either buying, making or finding her a decent set of armor to present to her. After hours of gathering materials or money, you finally have a full set of armor to present to her, and how does she thank you?
"I am sworn to carry your burdens..."
Never mind, then. I'll keep the armor for myself! I HOPE YOU AND YOUR UNGRATEFUL ATTITUDE DIE IN THE CLAWS OF A DRAGON!
