Tinignan niya lang si Millette at umalis. Gusto niya ng sex, ibinigay naman niya. Anong problema niya ngayon na nakuha naman niya ang gusto niya. Millette is just one of those girls he bedded, no strings attach, in the first place, before they did that, they were all aware.

He just drove his car to his condo. He needs to wake up early, he has a flight to Gensan, ikakasal kasi ang pinsan niyang si Jay Craig. Woman! He never thought that JC will fall for a girl named Mavee, nung una, alam niyang ang pakay lang nito ay paghihiganti, ngayon magpapakasal na siya?

He smirked. Marriage.

Then he felt that sudden pain on his chest. The familiar feeling that until now he is experiencing.

Zanjo was just staying outside the church while JC and Mavee were exchanging their stupid vows. Until now he couldn’t believe it, was there love between those two? Love never exist, people marry perhaps because of companionship. He didn’t want to witness again, another stupid vows. He bet, the two will still fight, and eventually will just separate ways. Just like the other couples he knew, just like JC’s Mom and Dad, like some people he knew too. Nothing is special about marriage. They will just waste their time and money.

He heard clapping of hands, signalling that the ceremony was finished, he’s sure that they will have their photo shoot, so he better stay here. He will just get bored inside.

He will just remember that part of his life.

“I am pregnant, Zanjo.” She cried when she said that.

 

“Don’t cry babe, that’s not a problem, I will marry you. Don’t worry.”

 

Napatingin ito sa kanya, siguro nga hindi ito makapaniwala na sa halos magdadalawang buwan nilang relasyon, pakakasalan niya ito.

 

The truth is, he loves her. He loves her so much that he is ready to give everything to her. Even his family name, he wanted to start a family with her. He will be a responsible father as he promised.
