Chapter 11

"Alright. You can do this Chels. Just go up and be nice. Do it for your birthday party! Alright....now!"

On such a boring Monday, I have to entertain Leon.

"Hey Leon!"

He looked at me as if he doesn't know me.

"Don't look at me like that. You know me."

I couldn't help but force a smile.

"So what's up buddy?"

He still game me an unpleasant look.

"Erm...no bueno convo? Alright then."

I turned away. Now he began to talk.

"It's not that. I'm just not getting the fact that you are talking to me like that."

"Well chew it in. It's my mistake. Lets just forget the past and try to be friends ok?"

"Under one condition."

Ugh what now!?

"You have to obey my commands or sayings for a week."

Ugh obey? Who says that now a days. But for a week. My birthday is in a week too. Just do it for your party.

"Alright."

"Ok. Hey buddy!"

His tone sounded as if he is back for revenge.

"Alright buddy. Lets start with dropping formalities. Well who uses formalities in the first place."

Apparently you do, you jerk!

I was giving him "hate" faces until his back turned and he faced me. I quickly change from an ugly face a having a huge smile on my face.

He smiled back. It was creepy enough to give me goosebumps. This whole day, he purposely bugged me for help when our classwork was self explanatory. Most of it was just read and answer. The rest was simple problems.

After school, he approached me.

"Buddy! Shall we go hang out?"

I was zoned out after buddy.

"Huh...where?"

He grabbed my hand. "Let's gooooooo!"

We went to his Beatle. He shoved me into his car and then he got in. While he was driving, we had a long moment of silence until we both heard a weird sound.

*guurrrrg*

Leon looked up.

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing, it's probably the car."

*gurrrrg*

This time, he put his ears towards me.

"Looks like somebody is hungry."

"No I'm not."

*guuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrg*

"What would you like to eat?"

I felt defeated.

"Anything you would like."

"Are you sure? Alright, let's go get some garlic soup with veggies!"

Are you kidding me!?

"No no no no no. It's ok. Why not something else?"

"Alright. Lets have fish curry!"

"NOOOOOO! I WANT SEAFOOD RAMEN NOODLES!"

What I just said was spoken way to fast, I don't even know what I said.
