"No" you moved away from him, "I didn't..." you shook your head with tears still falling, "the person that I love isn't Mark," you took a deep breath and with realisation you came to realise something deep and continued, "that person I love isn't the anonymous admirer either... its Park Jinyoung" you smiled as you realised your true feelings, your feelings for your best friend. The one who has been here for you since the start and no matter what happened in life, he was the one who will be there for you till the end, you took so long to realise it and you felt so stupid, even right now the answer was right in front of you, he was here to protect you from getting hurt and after pushing him away... he still ran after you to protect you, just like when you were kids he protected you from anyone and everyone who was out to hurt you or cause you harm that he would just throw himself into the situation without thinking.

"jinyoungie...." you looked at his eyes that had a gentle expression, it was an affectionate expression that was filled with love and endearment, another look you've never seen before. "Jaebum was right when he picked up that picture on my table, you were my first love and my one and only love, the love i've dreamt of having with you" he spoke softly with sincerity, "i know i haven't been here for you during that time when you needed me the most and i'm sorry for that, but now... i'm all grown up and i can make my own decisions and i won't move ever again if it means that i'll be apart from you" he pulled you in for an embrace. "like i said before, now i'll be the one by your side and will be for the rest of my life youngchae, if you're willing to give me a chance, i want to be that person to you" he smiled as he kissed the top of your head.
"Let's go on a date then" you smiled, "i want you to be the one for me jinyoung" you hugged him back, "thank you youngchae for loving me in return" he laughed and hugging you so tight you couldn't breathe, "you're killing me" you choked as he released you, "i promise i'll always protect you, i won't ever let you get hurt again" he gave you a smile that warmed your heart, "i'll never let you feel broken ever again".
