Ryan had randomly decided to write in a journal. His mom bought him a notebook from her work one day and he didn't know how else to put it to use. Little did he know, it came in handy for days like this.
'I've been feeling weird around Brendon. We're still friends and we hang out all the time, but it's just felt different to me. I seem to just care about him more. When he touches me at all I get all jittery. Even though we talk all of the time, my stomach feels fluttery when we're talking together. I don't know what it means. Maybe I'm going through puberty, finally. Mom and Dad have been fighting a lot lately. It's getting scarier. I'm afraid he'll hurt Mom again. I haven't told Brendon about it yet, maybe tomorrow.
