As I walk to the front gate and up the path I get my keys out of my pocket and open up the front door. I take my converses off and head upstairs. As I get to my room I chuck my bag on the floor and get out my envelope. I quickly open it, 'we would like to ask you if you would like to attend the Frank Bruno boxing academy'. "Oh my fucking God!!" Downstairs I hear some rustling then I hear someone heading up the stairs. My mum appears at my door, "Amber are you okai? What happened?" I hand her the letter but I keep the envelope because there is something inside. "Wow Amber I'm so happy for you, how did they know you?" I try to remember what sir said "Sir sent a video of me boxing to them along with my skills," I explain. "Well congrats hunny," she kisses me on the
head and leaves.
Beep
I check my phone:
Charles: hey baby heard about the great news coach told me! Xx
Me: um thanks but Charles I'm sorry we have to break up, I'm so sorry I didn't want this its my parents decision..
Charles: what Amber why can't you just communicate?!
Me: I tried your lucky they lets us be together for this long but I'm sorry it's over now bai...
No answer, 'great' I think to myself 'now he hates me'
I soon forget it as I see the envelope. I pick it up and empty its content:
A empty envelope
A sheet of lined paper
A dorm room key !
A gym membership card
And a picture of the dorm and academy.
I start writing down on the paper-
'Dear sender/Coach Roco
I am happy to say I accept the place in the Frank Bruno boxing academy. Thank you for this opportunity and I am grateful you chose me. As I see you teach boxing you also do lessons in core subjects I need:
GCSE PE
English
Maths
All 3 sciences
Health and safety.
I will see you on Friday then as that is when you said I should get there.

I fold it neatly, put it in the envelope and seal it. I run down stairs and quickly put my jogging trainers on, I open the door swiftly and leg it down to the post box. I then text my mum
