You limped home from your boyfriend's house. You had recently seen him shoving his tongue down another girl's throat. When you tried to confront him, he threw you to the ground and kicked you in the stomach.
He began to yell at you saying that was a lie. You continued to get kicked and he threw a slap or two in there as well. After it was over he went upstairs, leaving you on the cold ground, bleeding.
Once you reached home, you opened the door to meet your dad's angry face.
"You're la-" he stops once he looks at your face.
His disappointed look softens to the point he's almost in tears.
"Who did this?" he demands.
You shake your head and try to walk past him.
"Did your boyfriend do this?" he spits angrily.
You nod and fall into his embrace, sobbing uncontrollably.
"Hey, calm down. You're okay. You're going to be okay," he soothes.
