Chapter 1-Chief

Hiccup's POV

I woke up to the sound of Toothless jumping on my house.

"TOOTHLESS...CAN WE GO FOR A RIDE LATER?!"I yelled out to him.

He refused.

I got geared up in my  clothes and walked out lazily.

I turned around to face toothless, but instead I got pinned down to the ground by him.

"Ha, good to see you too bud." I told him.

"Looks like someone wants to have a ride with the chief," Astrid and Stormfly walked over to me smiling brightly.

I pushed Toothless off of me and smiled at her,"What are you so happy about mi'lady?"

I noticed Astrid was blushing,"Oh nothing, It's just a great morning. Can I ride with you, since i have nothing else to do."

I walked with Astrid over to Toothless' saddle."Sure" I smiled at her.

Just weeks ago, the biggest dragon I've ever encountered was the alpha dragon, and me and Astrid....

"Watcha thinking about Hiccup?" Astrid asked me.

"Huh?" I wasn't paying attention." Oh, just, something."

"I wa--"Astrid was cut off.

"HICCUP!!!! HICCUP!!!!"

I turned around and saw Gustav running to me.

"Hiccup!!! There's a chief meeting emergency!!! They need you, NOW.

Astrid's POV

"Hiccup!!! There's a cheif meeting emergency!!! They need you, NOW."

Hiccup turned towards me,

"Sorry Astrid, guess the ride's gonna have to wait." He stared at me with those gorgeous green eyes, and i could see worry in them too."

I smiled at Hiccup," It's fine, go to your chief meeting. I'll wait."

He finally smiled at me and turned around and ran. Toothless and Gustav followed him to the meeting.

" I guess it's just you and me girl" I muttered to Stormfly.

I hopped on her and she flew high into the sky. We twisted and turned above the clouds.

I flew with Stormfly with a few hours and then I sat down with her next to the lake.

I stared at my reflection, and soon after that, I noticed someone shooting an arrow at me.

" What the--", the next thing I knew, I blacked out.
