BTS' History (2014)

BTS' WebToon Series: We On  

Shortly after the start of Bangtan's Dark and Wild promotions, a webtoon series titled, "We On", was released. The series featured the members as characters with super powers, trying to protect the earth.One by one, each of the member's webtoon character was released. The series began September 3,2014, and many chapters have been published for it ever since.   

BTS 2014 Live Trilogy: Episode II. The Red Bullet  

On September 3, 2014 it was announced that BTS would have their very first world tour. Their firs tconcert would be held in Seoul, South Korea.The tickets sold in less than two minutes, causing a second day to be added to the concert, giving more fans the opportunity to attend. While promoting their song "Danger", the group continued to prepare for their upcoming concert scheduled for the following month. On the days leading up to their concert,teaser pictures were released to help promote it. teaser pictures for the concert. The three day concert first began on October 17th through October 19th, 2014. meeting with over The group met with 5,000 fans in total of all three days combined. The group performed twenty-four of their songs in over 150 minutes. BTS was extremely excited to have their concert, especially since it was something that had always dreamed of since their debut. Since their debut, it had always been their dream to have their first concert. The members became tearful when they were surprised to know that their parents had attended their concert.Towards the end, Jin, who really wanted the group to have a concert one day stated to the fans, "Starting from before we debuted, we thought we would only become real singers when we held our concert. Now that we've had our concert, we feel like we've been born as real singers, so we're so happy." BTS would then go on to continue their tour, and visit many other countries.  

3 Dangers  

In November 2014, BTS made their third comeback in Japan, this time releasing a Japanese version of their song "Danger".Later that month, BTS did a collaboration with Vietnamese artist "THANH" who worked with the seven members creating a remixed version of their song, "Danger". This makes three versions of their song "Danger".

MAMA 2014  

 In early November, it was revealed that BTS was nominated for two categories in the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Their song, "Boy In Luv" was nominated for, "Best Male Dance Performance" and"Union Pay Song of the Year".Later, that month it was also revealed that BTS and Block B would be attending MAMA with a special performance. The group spent a month preparing for their stage.On December 3, 2014, BTS was the very first performance during MAMA.Later, they would go on to have a stage together with Block B.Despite only receiving nominations for MAMA, 2014, the group's performance made the night very fun and memorable.  

First Japanese Album  

On December 24, 2014, BTS released their first full length Japanese album titled, "Wake Up". In the past, they had other Japanese albums of their Korean songs, converted into Japanese, however for their wake up album, this was their first album that they created brand new songs in Japanese. 

Christmas 2014 

On Christmas day, BTS surprised fans with a Christmas Voice radio show. During the show, they read letters from ARMYs, gave advice, and they also recommended many things to their fans fans.As an additional surprise, Jimin and Jungkook, remixed the song "Christmas Day", and gave it to their fans as a gift. They both had worked on the lyrics for the song together. Jimin tweeted, "A Christmas present from Jeong Kook and I. Do listen to it a lot. Merry Christmas."Each of the members took to twitter, wishing their fans a merry Christmas.Later that day, BTS would appear on M Count Down and perform two of their songs. Backstage, they wrote New Year's cards for seven lucky fans. They also Jimin and V, released a Christmas song.

V's Birthday

On December 30th, 2015, ARMYs celebrated V's birthday by sending him lovely messages to the group's social media accounts. However, V surprised many fans by giving them a gift to them instead.He took to twitter and hinted at the surprise by tweeting, "In an hour, I feel like something is gonna run by...just saying...". An hour later, with a link to the group, he tweeted, "Ta-dah!". V had released a video of him singing a cover of the song, "Someone Like You"On the group's fan café, he wrote, "The reason why I released a cover song is because I felt so sorry that I was just receiving the congratulations from ARMYs like last year on the first birthday I spent with you. I wanted to give a present to ARMYs. It's a happy day, so I'll give a present to ARMYs and receive congratulations from ARMYs."

Awards and Performances  

During late December and mid-January, BTS attended and participated in many award ceremonies and they had several collaborations.

During the month of January, BTS won over six different awards in various categories:January 15, 2015 The 29th Golden Disc Awardshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjkeM_qlu5M 

Unfortunately, Jungkook was unable to attend the 29th Golden Disc Awards, due to visa issues that made it unable for him to perform. Many fans were heart-broken over his absence, but they were very understanding of the situation. The youngest member took to twitter, tweeting, "Thank you for making it possible for us to receive such a great award at the Golden Disc (Awards). ARMYs! I'm really really sad that I wasn't able to stand on stage, but since there's always next time, I'm okay. I'm really sad that I wasn't able to see our ARMYs. haha I'll work harder! -JK" 

As a tribute to JungKook, the members wore red suits, because red is his favorite color.
