8 YEARS LATER
I watched Eadlyn and Ahren play with Kaden in the grass with Maxon. We were in the gardens, and all the kids were playing together..

"Come on, Kaden, come over here!" Eadlyn's tiny voice bossed. She had turned out to be quite the character, always bossing people around, and extremely stubborn, even if she was just eight. We knew she had good intentions, though.

Ahren helped little Kaden to Eadlyn, smiling as Kaden toddled over to his big sister.  Ahren, on the other hand, was not bossing people around. He was compassionate and kind, more level headed than his older sister, and he definitely had a cooler temper.

Kaden took off, walking on his own, and he got to Eadlyn's arms. "Good job, Kaden!" she said, smiling. She turned her head to Maxon and I, pushing her dark hair out of her face.

"Mom, Dad, did you just see that?" she asked.

Maxon nodded. "Yes, we did. Do you guys want to play a different game?" he asked, picking up the ball that was sitting beside him.

"Yeah!" Ahren said, excited. Maxon and I got up and he dropped the ball near his feet. He started kicking it around, and he passed it to Eady.

"It's me and Eadlyn against Mommy and Ahren, ok?" he said.

"Ok, but what about Kaden?" Ahren asked, gesturing towards his brother.

I smiled. "He's the referee." I stated with a laugh. The game started, and we played until supper time. We all went into the palace, had supper, and then got the kids ready for bed. Maxon and I went to our room for some relaxation, and we sat down on the bed, facing eachother.

"I love them all so much." he said, smiling to himself. I nodded, and my mind flashed to the news I had to tell him.

"Well, you'll have one more to love in a little while." I said, a grin spreading across my face.

"What?" he asked, puzzled.

"You'll have one more to love very soon." I began. "Because I'm pregnant again." Maxon grinned widely and kissed me. I laughed as we fell down so we were laying side by side, holding hands.

"I love you. I will love you until the day I die, America. I can never say that enough."

"I will never stop loving you, Maxon. And I cannot say that enough." I moved my lips to his and smiled.

This isn't happily ever after.

This is so much more than that.

THE END

Thank you guys for everything. For commenting, reading, voting, and supporting me. For now, this is the end, but I might post a few one shots or short stories every once in a while. I really enjoyed writing this story; I adore the characters and I really got to know them, but it seems like the right thing to do is end it here. Thank you again for reading and commenting and voting, it really means a lot to me. I guess it's goodbye.
