Chapter 2

I had no idea what lesson Marcia had dragged me too. That's how bad my brain was fucked up right now. I only noticed when my bum hit a seat, that we'd entered a classroom.

"Hey! Chase" Marcia shouted across the classroom at a guy I didn't recognize.

"Hey." He waved awkwardly as Marcia waved him over to us.

"Are the girls still up for going to the fair tomorrow?" She asked him, and I looked at her bewildered, I'd never even seen this guy before.

"Um yeah." He stood there awkwardly looking between Marcia and me.

"Are you going?" Marcia asked with a wink, causing him to frown slightly stealing a glance at me and then back to her.

"Err yeah" He shuffled on his feet awkwardly stuffing his hands in this pockets, and I'm not surprised seeing as her boyfriends sitting right next to her, and she's practically flirting with him. "But Quinn's staying around for the weekend so he'll be coming to..."

"Perfect" she grinned. "Ethan here is staying with me over the weekend, so do you think it would be alright if he came with?" She asked innocently. Since when was I staying with her for the weekend?! Wait. Did he just say, Quinn?

"Err yeah sure" He shrugged like it was no big deal and then gave a sort of half wave, before walking back to his seat.

"Who was he? What do you mean I'm staying with you for the weekend?! And did he mean Quinn as in... Quinn?" I stared wide-eyed at her and then broke out in an almightily smile at the end when it clicked.

"You're welcome" She grinned. I shook my head, but couldn't find the strength to argue with her.

"How did you know?" I whispered, as the teacher finally began the lesson.

"Know what?" she asked innocently.

"You know what" I frowned.

"Oh, so you're admitting it now?"

"N...no." Damn it. Why is the girl mind so confusing!

"Well I suspected it for a while, but I didn't really know for sure until today."

"Suspected?" I gulped.

"Ethan, how long have we been going out? Nine months and we've never done it" She raised her eyebrows.

"Err... I... um" I felt blood rush to my cheeks as I looked anywhere but her.

"You know you could have told me earlier; it hasn't done anything for my self-esteem" she grimaced.

"I'm so sorry Marcie, I didn't mean to hurt you. I wanted to tell you. I really did but I just couldn't. I..." I trailed off not knowing what else to say to her.

"Shut up; you're just lucky that I've always wanted a gay best friend."

"SHUSH!" I growled at her, looking around making sure no one had heard. Luckily I don't think anyone did.

"Fine, fine" she rolled her eyes.

"Marcie, seriously you can't tell anyone" I warned.

"Okay I promise, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to get you and Quinn together" she grinned mischievously.

"He probably doesn't swing my way anyway" I frowned.

"You never know" She winked causing me to groan. If only she knew that there was no chance he could ever be gay, but she was only human, and when she asks why I was so positive about that fact, I can't exactly say 'because werewolves can't be gay' now can I?!
