Twenty Two

I smile as Erik goes on and talks about something that happened today at training.

He sounds so excited and talks so enthusiastically that I can't help but be interested in what he is saying.

The way his eyes crinkle when he says and the way his laugh fills a room with excitement made me fill with love and happiness.

I don't even know how he can make me feel this way.

I never thought I'd feel this way about anyone.

Let alone my best friend.

"How funny was that?" Erik asks loudly before throwing himself to the bed on top of me.

"Very funny." I say with a laugh before I watch as Erik gets more comfortable on top of me before I play with his hair.

"I know." He notes shutting his eyes. "Guess who I seen today?" He asks.

"Who did you see today Erik?" I ask in a childish voice making Erik smile a little.

"I seen Rebecca Elvin."

"Oh she was a nice girl." I comment making him chuckle.

"I don't think you'll like her too much when I tell you what happened." Erik says and I stare down at him.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Well I seen her with the guys and we were just talking and I thought she was trying to get into Mats but then I realise she was actually flirting with me!" He exclaims.

"I always knew she was a slut." I whisper making him laugh and move so that he's lying down on his bed with his arms behind his head.

I lie next to him and lay my head on his chest.

"There's no way I'd leave you but. I love you way too much." He says staring up at the ceiling.

"I love you too."

"Bye dad!" I shout leaving the house with my mom who is driving me to the stadium.

It's a Bayern vs Borussia Dortmund game and Erik seemed even more nervous than he ever has.

"Are you excited?" My mom asks with a laugh.

"Yeah, I'm kind of nervous though. I think Erik is really nervous so it's kind of rubbing off on me." I explain making my mom laugh.

"He'll be fine and you'll be fine."

Five minutes later and we're outside the stadium.

"Okay I love you and please be safe." She begs making me laugh.

"I will, now don't worry." I kiss her cheek before running out of the car and into the stadium.

"Magdalena!" I hear a voice making me turn around to see Marco.

"Hi, can you help me I'm kind of lost." I say with a laugh making Marco laugh.

I walk with him towards the stadium and talk to him about his sister and Mario who are expecting a baby.

"If you asked me if they would be in this situation a few months ago then I wouldn't believe you." I say and Marco laughs.

"I know, she won't admit it but I think she actually enjoys living in Munich now."

"She moved to Munich?" I ask and Marco nods.

"Yeah just because she'd be nearer Mario when the baby is born."
