Connors POV
After texting Troye for a while he said he had to go. I felt my heart sink so deep in my chest I thought I would shit it out. Sorry for that image but it's true. I just met this boy but I couldn't get him off my mind.
I texted him again even though I knew he was busy. "Do you want to hang out again soon?" I pressed send. Then realized he was busy so I should be too. Only problem? I had nothing to do. If I went to Rise I'd only think of him if I went to the park I'd think of him. So I fell asleep thinking of him.
I woke up to my phone beeping from a text and rolled over to see what was happening since no one really ever texted me. It was Troye. Shit. I slowly and cautiously opened the message. "Yes absolutely" Fuck shit damnit. I can't breath oh crap how did that message of two word make me so excited. I got up and couldn't help myself but dance around my room I'd never been this excited.
"When are you free?" I replied. I waited about 3 minutes (but no ones counting) and he responded. "Tonight?" YES. FUCK YES TONIGHT. "yeah, sure, Rise at seven?" YES TONIGHT WHAT WILL I WEAR "sounds great, see you then" OK BLACK OR BLUE JEANS OR NO PANTS? Okay definitely pants.
In just 3 short hours it was 6:30 and I had finally decided what to wear. I walked out of the house and was luckily able to sneak past my mom. By the time it was 6:45 I was at rise and sitting at a table. At 6:55 I was nervously tapping my foot, what if he didn't show up? At 7:00 I started chewing the inside of my cheek. Yes. he was definitely not coming. At 7:02 the door dinged and I turned around to see Troye walking in and my heart started beating so fast. I quickly remind myself to play it cool as he did like a half kind of smile that was more of like "Hello" than a smile but I returned it with a smile and before I knew it Troye was sitting in front of me,
