Chapter 11

Troye's pov

I woke up around 12, which was quite weird cause usually my father would have yelled some insult to me before he went to the bar or sometimes his odd end jobs. I got up and went downstairs to see if anyone was home, surprisingly nobody was here. My mom is usually always at work because she doesn't like being home with my dad when he yells at me so she does extra hours at her job. I went back to my room after I established that nobody was here. I laid down on my bed, I couldn't stop thinking about last night. It seemed like years since I first walked into Rise.
Every time I started to doze off my mind would wonder back to the boy I met last night. It seemed like my mind couldn't stop thinking about Connor, his bright green eyes and the way his hair kept falling I front of them. I couldn't get my mind off of him he was almost like a drug. I thought about it for a while and I decided to text him. I got out my phone which wasn't a very new or nice but it had music on it so its fine for me. I took out my notebook also so I could get his number. I made his contact and then I stopped, what if he doesn't remember me? What if he's doing more important things right now? What if I bother him. I had all these questions in my head but kept ignoring them.

I started typing, "Hey Connor. This is Troye. The boy from last night"

I pressed send with my eyes closed and my heart racing, all the questions in my head were slowly becoming reality as the minutes passed and he didn't reply. I put my headphones in and started listening to music. Then I heard a ding, I looked down and my heart probably skipped at least 10 beats. Connor replied.
"Hey Troye," I didn't know what to do I was over extremely happy that he had replied but now I didn't know what to say. Luckily Connor texted again asking me if I was ok, I replied with yes and that I had just gotten bored. We texted for quite a while when he said he had to go. There was nothing else I had to do so I just went back to sleep.
