Nessie, Dinah, James and I finally enter the beach.

"WOW!" the girls exclaim in unison.

"It's very beautiful here," Dinah admits.

"I haven't seen such a pretty beach before," Nessie smiles at me.

"Yeah, El Matador's amazing," James nods.

"Who wanna go surfing?" I ask.

"Me!" Dinah, Nessie and James shout.

We help the girls to choose appropriate surfboards and rent them for a few hours.

"Are you sure you can teach me this 'surfing' thing, Logie?" Nessie asks me, smiling.

"Of course, Nessie!" I say excitedly. "James and I are the best teachers when it comes to surfing."

"Oh, really? Have you taught anyone?" Dinah asks innocently.

"No... Does it matter?" James says.

The girls chuckle.

"Okay, let's try," they finally agree.

The water's pleasantly warm. I can't help staring at Nessie. She looks amazing in her blue bikini. She's quite the opposite of her way too skinny friend. For me, Nessie looks much better.

I show Nessie how to surf and then she tries to cope with the waves with my assistance.

"I guess it's not my thing," she laughs after falling from the surfboard once again.

"No, you're wrong!" I exclaim. "You're doing well as for your very first time. Try once more," I encourage her.

"You're so kind, Logie," she smiles. "But for sure everyone here is laughing at me."

"Hey, I'm not laughing at you," I frown slightly and start singing.

"Turn up the radio
So what if we lose control
Get a little bit rock and roll, oh whoa oh

So throw your hands in the air
Come on and make this count
It's only you and me, never mind this crowd
Do the way you do it
Do it like nobody's around, whoa
So put your hands in the air
Come on and waste no time
It doesn't really matter if it's wrong or right
Do the way you do it
Do it like nobody's around
We can do it like nobody's around."

Nessie chuckles softly and pulls me in for a short, passionate kiss.

"You always know what to say... or what to sing," she smiles.

"Aw, thank you," I smile back.

Nessie's not aware of how much the words I sang for her match my feelings...

Nessie tries again and this time she manages to balance on her board way better.

"I did it!" she exclaims happily.

"I was right, you see?" I kiss her cheek.

We stay on the beach till the evening. I hold Nessie's hand as we walk along the shore.

"What a beautiful sunset..." I hear her say.

"Thanks for taking us here, guys," Dinah adds, smiling.

"You're welcome," James and I reply.

I pull Nessie in for one more, sweet kiss.

If only this could last forever...
