DIL KA RISHTAA

"Manik I have looked for her parents everywhere..aas paas ke sab villages me bhi is bachhi ki pictures dikha kar pooch liya lekin iske parents ka kuchh pata nahi chala..." Cabir said as he entered Manik's room " I dont think her parents are looking for her.I think she is an unwanted child who was left on the road deliberately by her parents."

Manik flinched his eyes and rubbed is temple.

"To ab..ab kya karein?What should we do now?"He asked letting out a deep breath.

"Karna hai kya...I think we should leave her in some orphanage "Cabir replied plainly.

"Orphanage" Manik 's gulped on hearing the word " Are you out of your mind Cabir.Look at this innocent soul.She is hardly 8 to 9 months old" Manik looked at the baby who was sleeping peacefully on the bed " uss bechari ko to pata bhi nahi ki uske saath kya hua hai aur tu usse orphanage bhejne ki baat kar raha hai. Orphanage me rehne ka pain kya hota hai ye mujhse better kaun jaan sakta hai?"Manik sighed.

"Manik...Dont get emotional yaar.I understand your state of mind but we dont have any other option left...hum.." Cabir was still speaking when Manik intervened.

"Option kyu nahi hai....option hai naa" Manik spoke firmly.

Cabir understood manik's intentions looking at his face.

"Manik...Manik dont tell me tu..."

"You are right...I will adopt this baby , take care of her till....till I find her real parents"Manik replied

"You are crazy dude" cabir remarked "You are insane.Tujhe 2 din pehle roadside par ek basket me ek baby padi hui  mili thi jis par likha tha Ananya .Aisa kya rishta ban gaya tera uske saath that instead of sending her to orphanage , you want to keep her!"

"Rishta..." Manik smiled  and picked the baby in his arms "Dil ka rishtaa hai mera iske saath" He kissed her forehead and said "I promise you ananya , I  wont let you suffer like I have...I promise you baby"

"agar Mr. Malhotra jaise bade insaan mujh jaise orphan ko apna naam aur legacy de sakte hai to main bhi iss baby ko apni legacy forward kar sakta hu" Manik said "Cabir give an ad in all  the newspapers tomorrow.Manik Malhotra wants a nanny for his daughter"

"Are you crazy nandini" navya snapped " It was your own decision to give the baby to Manik aur ab jab wo apne papa ke paas pahunch gayi hai to tu uske paas vaapis jana chahti hai"

"Navya ..Navya you know it very well" Nandini replied very politely " Jis tarah ki upbringing usse manik sir de sakte hai uss tarah ki upbringing dene ke baare me main soch bhi nahi sakti...You know I dont have any resources.Aur rahi  baby ke paas vaapis jaane ki baat...to its the best opportunity for me.Mujhe job bhi mil jayegi aur main apni baby ke saath bhi reh sakungi" Nandini announced happily

"But are you sure ki 18 months pehle jo hua uske baad Manik Sir tujhe phir se job denge......"
