I walked down the street. I didn't know where I was going. I just, walked. When the sun started to go down, I looked around for a gas station. Nothing in sight. I remember passing by my friends house. But then they would tell my parents. And they are the last people I want to see right now. I walked into the woods and sat behind a tree. I fell asleep. But sure enough. After what felt like 5 minutes. My phone buzzed. Crap. Hayley was calling me. I decided to answer.
"hello"
"Annie! I couldn't find you. Where did you go?"
"I left. I can't live there. We have the worst luck."
"You have to come home."
"I don't want to"
"I'll tell mom. She will send out a whole freaking SWAT team to find you."
"fine. But I'm lost. I don't know where I am. I'm in the woods behind some house."
