Your POV:

14 years ago was when Han was born.
14 years ago was when he lied to you.
14 years ago was when he took you back to the first order along with your son.
14 years ago you made a promise to make sure you don't let Han learn from his father.

One early morning you woke up and looked around the room. You and Ren hadn't been sleeping in the same bed. You and Ren had lost whatever love was because you had stopped trusting him and caring.

You got up and got dressed to go talk to Han and Ren who were most likely training at the moment.

That's when after you had gotten dressed you heard a knock on the door. You walked over to open it, surprisingly Han was there. He looked scared and urgent. After you had moved away to let him in he locked the door and carefully pulled you towards the bathroom in your bedroom.

" Mother, we need to leave. I got message from the resistance that they're planning an attack. " Han told you and made sure he was quiet enough for no one to hear him.

You looked up at your son. He looked a lot like Ren... No Ben. Ben. Who he had used to be. He looked like he had all the joy in the world. Though, he did have this dark look to him.

" and? Why should it matter to me? " you asked him. You'd become quite bitter over the past few years.

He sighed and looked at you. " The resistance has sent people to come and take you home. " Han said. " I can come with but we have to make it look like we've died. " he said.

You looked at him a bit happily. You quickly hugged him and smiled. " Finally. " You say and hear someone knocking on the door. You quickly walk to it and unlock the door to see Ren there.

" Y/N. " he said and looked at you. You stared at him for a few seconds and just sighed. " Han, it's time to get to training... Talking with your mother will have to wait. " He said and walked off. You watched Han follow him sadly.

The fact that you still wanted him back was sad. You didn't want to trust him but you still couldn't help but love him.

You shook your head and closed the doors again.

Time skip:

When the resistance attacked you both had to escape with a few of them.

The both of you ran down the hall quickly along with Fin and Poe who were the ones to rescue the both of you.

That's when you stopped as you heard someone following you. It was Kylo.

You stopped and turned around to look at him.

He was standing there without his helmet on. His eyes slightly sad.

" I'm sorry. " you said to him before you ran off with the others.

Kylo's POV:

As he watched the both of you run off he started to think about the past years.

How Snoke had made him do all of this and he never really said no to it. He couldn't risk it at all.

How he had let you go. How he had let the love he once felt go because he followed Snoke's stupid orders.

How he had trained his own son but knew deep down he was too much like you. He never wanted to use the force, he never wanted to fight, he never wanted anything but to be away.

He couldn't help but cry as he watched them run off. He never got the chance to fix this all and now he was going to have to follow the orders Snoke gave him earlier.

' if they both leave, kill them both. Maybe, that is what's really holding you back. Making you weak. '
