Merlin and Arthur one shots (For fun not historically correct or long that's the point)

In love with a knight part 3

I knew I needed to tell Arthur either that I was no longer in love with him or that I had done something stupid and ask for forgiveness.

Both ideas I didn’t like but there weren’t many other options I had.

Merlin clearly wasn’t impressed with me either but the following day I had made my mind up.

I was to leave Camelot forever alongside Jed and I just hoped Arthur would be alright.

I had fallen for Jed the knight and he was the only thing on my mind.

‘Gwen you cannot do this. Without you Arthur will never make a great king’ said Merlin quickly.

‘Oh yes he will Merlin he has you’ I said to him.

‘Gwen please’ said Merlin.

‘When I first met you I liked you more then just a friend but as your friend now trust me that Arthur will be ok. If you look deep down inside your heart you will know that too’ I said before I packed my last few things as Jed came into the room.

I had fallen in love with a knight and now that was going to change my life forever.
