Chapter 22

"Doctor.... Is there any news on Alice" I asked.

"Yes, there is.... I'm not really sure how to put this .... Alice has passed..." He said.

"What.... No no no! She's dead!" I cried.

"Haha, got you! She's perfectly fine. She is about to be released " the doctor said.

"Are you serious! There is something you just shouldn't joke about. That is one of them. I can't believe you're a doctor. That right there proves you're an immature turd " I said.

"Sorry, I thought I would say a little joke. Well , Alice is checking out at the main counter. Have a nice day " he said.

I stood by the counter watching the time tick on my watch.

"Ok , I'm free to go! Thank god. I hate hospitals. They small like pills and old people " Alice said.

"Let's go home. We need to after this long day. " Olive replied.

"There is a cab waiting outside for. Hate to keep him waiting " I said.

"Yeah , let's go "Alice said.

We got in the cab one by one , all mashed together.

It reminds me of when I was being driven to our new house.

Besides this time we don't smell terrible.

We drove down the bumpy dirt road that lead to our house , but something doesn't feel right.

Someone is watching us.

"Guys , do you feel like someone is watching us?" I asked.

"No , why?" Alice asked.

"Nothing " I answered.

The eerie feeling grew stronger the further we went down the road.

What is watching me , and why?

A cold chill ran down my spine, causing goosebumps to form all over my body.

"Your stop , you owe me ten bucks. " the cab driver barked.

" I only have seven.." I sobbed.

"Great. I'll let you slide this time. But next time have the right payment. Now get outta here " he said

As soon as we were out of the vehicle, he stormed off.

The blacked haired girl. " Olive murmured.

I glared at Olive as if she was crazy , but she wasn't.

In front of her stood a little girl.

She wore a velvet red dress and a golden crown.

She didn't speak or move , she just stood there.

"Hello?" I said.

No reply.

" I don't trust her. Let's kill her!" Alice said.

"Yeah , that seems like our only option"Olive added.

"Dude! You don't know her. You can't just kill her." I said.

"But look at her. All I see it untrustworthy written all over her face." Alice said.

" I do see where Alice is coming from" Olive mumbled.

"We're not killing her unless we have a valid reason " I said.

"Fine , but don't be cry if she is an insane demon " Alice said.
