Word of warning: This mentions being attacked, I guess. If this offends you, I'm sorry.

Balthazar's words rang in your head. "Sorry, you have me confused with the other angel. You know, the one in the dirty trench coat who's in love with you." Was that supposed to mean Cas loved you? You guys were pretty close, considering he pulled you out of hell, as well with your cousins, Sam and Dean, but you didn't think Cas LOVED you. Ever since he said that, though, you've been distancing yourself from Cas, wanting to see his reaction. Dean seemed upset to your reaction to what Balthazar had said, telling you that he didn't mean it.

One day you were boredly going through the Supernatural forums, looking at all the comments. You laughed at the ridiculous shippings, seeing ones that had Dean and Sam in relationships, which you found hilarious. You noticed a comment by a user with the name "casx_____4EVA" saying "OMG guys my pairing is soo cool, their my OTP! Can u imagine _______ with Cas?" At reading that, you shut your laptop with a bang, hoping to God that Cas wasn't anywhere near you, or reading your thoughts.

As if on cue, Castiel zapped into the room. "_______, where's Sam and Dean?" He asked, looking around for your cousins. You shrugged, getting your jacket.

"Getting food. I'm going for a walk." You muttered, brushing past him as you walked to the door.

"________, wait..." Cas started, but you couldn't hear him over the slapping of your shoes against the concrete as you ran out of the motel.

It was a good thing that you lived in this town for a few years as a child, so you knew it pretty well. You slowed down as you reached your favourite park, which was on the other side of the town. You checked your watch, knowing Dean and Sam wouldn't get back to the motel for a while.

"_______!" shouted a familiar male voice. You looked around for the owner, finding it to be Jack, your neighbour when you lived there.

"Hey Jack..." you replied awkwardly. You still remembered when he tried to ask you out, and prayed to god he didn't.

"It's been a while, ________. How come you're back here?" He asked, sitting on a bench and gesturing for you to do the same.

"My cousins and I are passing through, we're on our way to a family friend." You lied. In truth, you were hunting a vengeful spirit, but he didn't need to know that.

"That's great, it's great to see you again, we've all missed you. So, got any boyfriend recently? Knowing you there are probably twenty poor guys who fallen in love with you," he said, chuckling.

You shifted uncomfortably, knowing where his conversation was headed. "Uh..." You tried to think of a lie, but you were coming up blank.

"I'm guessing that's a no, right ________?" Jack asked, leaning closer.

You backed away, feeling uncomfortable. "Listen Jack, I haven't been looking for a boyfriend for a while," You told him, backing away as he leaned closer. "Work's been keeping me busy, um listen I should probably get back to my cousins." You added, standing up and backing away from him.

He smirked, standing up and still coming closer to you. "I'm sure they won't mind, ________," he murmured lowly.

You shook your head "They will, they're really protective of me and stuff. Trust me, they probably going to call me soon." You told him, still walking backwards.

Suddenly, a warm, familiar hand grabbed yours. "Hey _______, it's good I found you, Sam and Dean are worried," the comforting voice of Castiel washed over you. You squeezed his hand gently in relief.

"_______, who's this?"

Cas pulled you closer to him, wrapping his arm protectively around your waist. "I'm her boyfriend, and you must be Jack," Castiel replied, his voice holding an edge to it. Jack nodded, getting the message Cas was silently sending. He quickly waved goodbye to you before running off, scared of the angel next to you.

Castiel quickly zapped you back to the motel room. "_______, are you okay? He didn't hurt you in any way or anything, right?" he asked gently.

You shook your head. "I'm fine, just a little shaken up. Thanks for getting there in time, Cas..." You replied, hugging him in thanks. Realising what you were doing, you awkwardly pulled away. You avoided looking at his eyes, suddenly finding the bed you were sitting on very interesting.

"_______?"

"Yes, Cas?" You asked, moving away when you realised how close the two of you were.

"Why have you been avoiding me? Ever since you guys clashed with Baltha-" he cut himself off, suddenly realising something. "________, what did Balthazar say to you?" He asked urgently, taking your hands in his. You blushed, not looking at Castiel. "_______, what. Did. He. Say?" He asked, still sounding urgent.

You laughed softly at the angel. "He said, and I quote, 'Sorry, you have me confused with the other angel. You know, the one in the dirty trench coat who's in love with you.' I didn't know if he was telling the truth or anything though..." You trailed off, hoping Cas would clarify for you.

He nodded, moving closer to you. "Well, ________, if it makes any difference to you... he was telling this truth." Cas murmured shyly, his face burning bright red. You looked at him, searching for any signs of a lie. "I'm telling to the truth, ________. I am in love with you." He told you, cupping his hand against your cheek, leaning closer. His lips brushed your softly, barely applying any pressure, before he pulled away.

"Cas, I..." You trailed off, unable to form complete sentences. Instead, you showed it by kissing him, slowly and sweetly. He responded with just as much gentleness. You broke away to tell him something important. "I love you too, Cas," you said, causing him to smile sweetly at you and kiss you.

You two kept kissing until Dean and Sam got back (which wasn't long) and when Dean came in, his first reaction was "I don't know whether to be happy or grossed out," causing you all to laugh.
