Hold my hand // Jeon Jungkook

(Koras POV)

I run back up the hall and take a deep breath before entering the room, I open the door to see Jungkook sitting up and looking at the drawings that were taped to my wall along with the few photos I have,

"Hey.." I say not wanting to shock him but he jumps a bit then gives me a cute smile and replies with,

"Hi" he pats the bed and I trot over dropping the food in the middle of us, Jaxx has now moved to the end of the bed and is lying across it,

"Did you draw these?" Jungkook asks as he opens the bag of chips, score they do like food.

"Mhmm" he nods and looks back at the drawings whilst putting chips in his mouth whilst I look at him and put sour patch kids in mine.

"So kora, tell me about you"

"Well Jungkook, what do you want to know?"

"I don't know like, your history, how you became a singer, if you uh ever had a boyfriend or if you're single... you know the usual?" He says awkwardly whilst rubbing the back of his neck, I smile lightly and look down... don't get feelings Kora, do not get feelings.

"Ahah okay welllll, I was born in New Zealand but I was raised in Melbourne, when I was 12 I went for an audition for YG entertainment and passed with 1st place but I didn't go then because my dad... he passed away in the same year so my brother and I were/are orphans I guess? The only family we had were my dad's parents so we moved over here to live with them but they kind of wanted nothing to do with us, so we lived with them for a few years, I was lonely and wanted a friend so I got Jaxx, he's named after my dad who's name was Jackson, --Jaxx crawled up to me and put his head on my thigh, I smiled down at him and plopped a kiss on his head-- and then when I was 14 I remembered about YG and figured I shouldn't waste the opportunity and my dad would want me to succeed so I went to YG auditioned, worked hard for many years and finally got to debut. And to answer your questions I have had a boyfriend it was a very serious relationship that lasted 5 minutes because of a dare" I ended my speech with a bow and a sour patch kid dropping into my mouth.

"Oh... wow you're... really strong." I looked up at him, eyebrows raised,

"Hmm?"

"You're extremely strong Kora, I was not expecting that and um i'm proud of you and I know your dad would be too." My lip quivered at the sound of my dad being proud of me

"You think so?"

"Yeah I do." I nodded and smiled at him trying my best not to cry.

"Come here"

I scooted over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist whispering a small thank you, I felt his cheek move against my head and a small nod and he nestled his head into my shoulder, wrapped his arms around my body and played with my hair,

"You smell nice."

"Thank you, so do you."

And with that we broke away and started laughing again,
"So how about you Jungkook, have you ever had a girlfriend/are you single?" He looked at me as if he wasn't expecting that question.

"Well Kora, I have had a girlfriend, it was in primary school and lasted 2 whole weeks, I asked her out by writing "will you go out with me? Check yes or no" on a sticky note that was attached to a carton of milk."

"Oh my gosh how romantic." He winked at me and laughed eating some sour patch kids

"What's your favorite color Kora?"

"White and green but mint green or a really nice plant kind of green"

"Mmm I can tell from your room" he says as he looks at the few green plants lying around.

"Ahah yeah it's a little bit boring I guess"

"No, I like it a lot" I smile at him tilting my head down trying to hide my blush,

"What's your favorite color Jungkook?"

"Red, and the color of your cheeks when I make you blush" he looked at me and I swear I could not breathe, I nervously brushed off the feeling in my stomach with a nervous laugh,

"Wow, smooth"

"Yeah I know I've been learning awesome pickup lines from my hyungs, wanna hear?"

"Tell me everything" 

And just like that we talked and laughed until we fell asleep with our little chubber wubber Jaxx in between us.
