I check Tris's pulse to make sure that Peter didn't kill her- that has happened before, actually- and then have Will take her down to the infirmary. Al and Christina follow him out, and I'm surprised when Christina glares at Molly, Peter, and Drew and then sticks up her middle finger at her. I almost laugh at her pissed-off expression. Well, no wonder why she transfered to Dauntless. That took some guts.
The other initiates finish their fights quickly, with no serious injuries. Christina and Will return to fight and then leave again to go make sure that Tris is okay.
Later that night after dinner, I head to the infirmary to check on Tris. She isn't there, and the people that work there think that she's still in her room. I figure that she woke up, waited until she could stand without throwing up or passing out, and then snuck out. It seems like something that she would do.
On the way back to my apartment, I stop by the tattoo parlor to say hi to Tori and Bud, then go straight to my room. I lay in my bed for a few hours, calculating the initiates odds of getting into Dauntless-again- several times before I finally fall into a deep and surprisingly dreamless sleep.
