Fear.
It's the most powerful emotion.
Don't even begin to explain that "love" is actually the most powerful one.
Because it's not.
When you think about love, there's so much you can give.
So much you want to give.
Fear is different.
You don't want to give anyone fear for it contradicts the love.
Fear is the thing that stops you from doing what you love.
That stops you from getting up and taking to that one person.
That keeps you up at night.
Asking the questions that begin with what and why.
Fear is what hid in the closet at night time when you were little.
But as we grew up, fear made a comfortable little home in our head.
For some, the home may be more than little.
There may be even a few creatures and things living in that home.
Those creatures don't know what love is.
All they know is fear: the home they're safe in.
Those creatures are what control the inner workings of fear.
Is that a shadow of a light?
Or a creature in disguise?
No one loves you here.
Because they're overpowered by the most comfortable emotion.
Fear.

At three o'clock in the morning, Twenty One Pilots passed a road sign that said 'Welcome to Ohio.'

There was peace... but there was also fear.

For some reason, coming back to Ohio brought fear back to Tyler and Josh.

Sure they were playing a home show which they were really excited for, no doubt, but would anyone be there? Had everyone forgotten about them as they ventured off trying to spread their music as best they can?

They didn't know. They weren't in charge of sales and they didn't want to know how many were coming... they wanted to be surprised.

Will the place be packed?

Will there be no one there?

They purely didn't know, they just had to wait and see.

At nine o' two AM, Twenty One Pilots dropped off Josh at his grandpa's house. They were beyond happy to see Josh again.

"How was your trip?!" Grandpa Dun asked.

"It was amazing, grandpa. I loved every bit of it." Josh said.

Maybe not every bit... but most of it, Josh thought.

"We're excited for the hometown show!" Ashley said.

"Did you hear? Almo-" Jordan started.

"NO, Jordan! He doesn't want to know, remember!" Abbie shouted.

"Oh, shoot yeah, sorry!" Jordan said.

"You're fine. I'm excited too." Josh said, yawning.

"I'm going to take a nap." Josh said getting up.

"Have fun." Ashley laughed.

Josh walked to the guest room and laid down; however, when he laid down he heard something screech.

"What the frick!?" He yelled.

He looked around and saw what made the noise.

It was a little black cat, a kitten if prefered.

"Surprise!" Abbie said walking in.

"You bought a cat?" Josh asked kneeling down to it.

"Yup! We can share him if you like."

"What's his name?"

"I haven't named him... I was sorta waiting for you."

Josh picked him up and set him in his lap.
