“I couldn’t leave you,” the girl whispered onto my ear.
“You have to…” I whispered. I was lying in the ground with a gunshot on my chest. I felt a tear drop on my face. I knew she was crying. I tried hard to console her. I know she is afraid. I know she is not ready for this.
“Please, don’t leave me,” she begged and more tears dropped onto my face. With my bloody fingers, I touched her face. Her hand were then over my hand.
“I will not stay any longer, love. But always remember, I will be back one day. We will see each other again. I promise,”
“No, you will stay,” I heard her say, the sobbing became more deafening.
“I-I-I lo-love you…” I said and I closed my eyes as my hand fall off from touching her face. I took my last breath.
“No!!!!” I heard her scream.
