Hello there! My story may or may not follow the vampire diaries exactly. This story begins from season two from 'know thy enemy' episode.
Small recap- Salvatore brothers and Elena finds out that Elena is a doppelganger and Klaus the original hybrid is behind her. Meanwhile Elijah, Klaus's half brother promises to finish off Klaus during ritual but the brothers don't trust him so he is daggered and kept safely at Salvatore boarding house basement. :P

"Welcome to mystic falls" I read the sign board on my way. I don't know why but I have a tendency to read this particular sign board every time I enter this town.
I dialed the number on my phone and put it on speaker mode. It rang and got no answer.
" Why are you not picking the phone, Damon?" I yelled at the phone.
"If not best friend number one then best friend number two." So I dialed in the number but got no response.
"Great! Now Alaric is not picking the phone. I guess I have to find out what's happening here! Just two weeks I am out of this town and this is what happens! Dear lord" I drove towards boarding house.
"Damon! Stefan!" I called out but got no response.
"Hell where are they? I hope they are fine." I prayed.
I drove to Alaric's apartment.
Third person POV
Katherine wakes up and sees the same warlock casting spells on someone sitting in a chair. She starts to get up but sees Elena's necklace is gone.
She looks at the person on the chair once again and recognizes it's Alaric. He opens his eyes and gets up. The warlock bends down in a bow. Katherine gets up slowly and Alaric turns around and sees her.
"Alaric?" Katherine speaks.
A smile crosses his face. She rushes over to the door but an invisible force stops her.
Alaric slowly walks over and speaks in Slavic accent.
"Zdravei, Katerina"
He takes her face in her hand.
"I missed you." He says.
"Klaus!" Katherine speaks in shock.
Klaus smiles widely at her.
